The game has gotten to fast for them. Need to add at least one more.

The solution is and always will be an NCAA officiating office that is not related to any conference. Any alumni of a university should not be allowed to officiate his alma mater.

No alumni should be allowed to select an officiating crew for his alma mater.

This is not rocket science.

Hasn't been remotely decent since Steve Shaw was in stripes.

I think it's fine. It's a tough job, and calls are going to be missed.

This. Also, let's add some technology to the game. Goal post sensors to help call FGs, etc.

Since you asked, it was pro LSU but you are too blind to see it. I will say it again, LSU started blaming officials before the game. Before the game for crying out loud. That you entered the contest with that mindset and found minutiae to somehow support your theory then I for one am not surprised with this idiotic outcry.

Where are your sane fans?

You don't hear Bama folks bitching as much about officiating because only losers do that and we don't lose much.

The answer is: Most fans think the officiating in their conference is terrible.

I think the SEC officiating is probably as good as any.

Pro-LSU?

We should have been flagged for our guy tugging your guys pants down (but off-setting because of the facemask getting ripped off that went uncalled). The PI in the endzone that went uncalled hurt Bama too.. but did you miss the final two plays of OT?

Whether you want to believe it or not.. the punt was correctly called down at the one. The ball is dead when he gains possession (1 yard line), his momentum has zero to do with that. He's not a WR who must maintain possession through the fall.

That's what CLM said, not me. He also said that no matter what happens, it doesn't change the scoreboard. If it could, he'd be raising hell.

It's ok, the PAC12 is worse.

I think the SEC's overall attitude is sort of "let them play and be physical" for the most part and that's what I like.

I really just think it's extremely difficult these days between
- HD camera everywhere
- exotic offenses using motions and 100 formations and tempo
- speed and size of players

I agree about goal line sensors and any other sort of technological advances they can use. They make hundreds of millions, safety and officiating improvements should get a lot of that money.

SEC officiating is the most corrupt in all of football. Many of the officials seem to have personal agenda that influence calls and that fact is apparent every week.

Adding another ref would help tremendously. Stop missing easy procedural calls. It's not like these refs were scrambling around to get set.. it was the first play in OT..
