No deflection at all. If you read my other post I said of course it is forced. LSU has naked pics of a CBS executive....therefore that is why they pick the Alabama/LSU game almost every year for their prime-time game. It has nothing to do with national interest in the game itself.

Not at all. The game usually carries a lot of weight. Notice how both teams schedule their bye weeks for this game. That's mutual respect. Not forcing anything. They know the stakes.

I wouldn't call it forced, but both teams have a lot in common. Both have SEC and National Championships; both have been relevant for some time now; one coach has coched and won championships at both schools; and so on.
Someone from the SEC office should ask about returning aTm to where they came from, drop Mizzu to the west and pick up another team for the east.
