I personally don't and I think he is smart for not wanting him.

If he had hired anyone else and had these results, he could fire him and buy more time. Tubberville did it.

By hiring "the best available", he has put himself in a hole. If Will fails, they are all gone.

I didn't realize Muschamp is the reason the Auburn offense is complete shite.

I think that it was his only option because most of us Auburn fans are getting tired of seeing our defense get shredded game after game and repeat the worst collapse in college football history every 3 years.

From a UGA blog....

quote:

We really don’t give enough love to agent Muschamp. He fell on his sword for Georgia by taking the HC job at FU where he worked his magic and demolished the program. I thought it was a little over the top for CMR to throw the WLOCP game last season to try to save Muschamp’s job though. Didn’t work anyway. All that said, I was wondering how long it would take for the Aubies to catch on. Keep him going in Auburn for just long enough to completely destroy the Barners’ program, then let’s get him the job at SC or UT when SOS retires or Sgt Carter gets fired. That should get him into the ’20s.

I also believe that Auburn will win a few games

He's not but he also can't deflect the blame either.

It ALWAYS takes at least two years for a DC to turn a weak defense into a good one. (don't tell the aubs)

If I didn't know better, I would think bammer was the little brother. A lot of your fans act like it. You have to be kidding starting this kind of thread about Auburn even after your own team lost

I think Nick would fire Lane right now if he could get away with it. But Nick deserves a lot of the blame for the shitstorm he's allowed to unfold.

Need good players to have a good defense. We don't have that right now.

Based on Malzahn's own words I would say you are wrong.

quote:

he had to wait for Will Muschamp, who disappeared into the Caribbean the day after he finished his tenure at Florida and became one of college football's hottest coaching commodities.

"I was going to be patient, so I didn't really have any set time," Malzahn said. "I just knew that's who I wanted and who we needed."

Thank God that losing Georgia plant Muschump is far from Gainesville. He set Florida football back 30 years. Worst offense ever in UF history. That sleptrock seems to have a direct effect with scoring on both sides of the ball. Congratulations Auburn.

Yeah because you have such a shitty defense, and he left the cupboard bare on offense, but you all are 3-0. Frick Boom right?
