OP, it takes a lot more then a couple of seasons with no titles to change big bro and little bro status.

Texas A&M was an obvious choice, but now that they've joined the SEC and Texas has declined, they have a legitimate claim to being top dog in Texas.

Baylor and TCU have been consistently better the last several years than either UT or a&m.

DAMN. Caught a whorn. This reminds me of when my father and I would go fishing in the bay, and every time we found a good spot he would reel in a stingray. Damn things are annoying and you have to just cut the line to let them go.

Yeah, but I don't know many Texas or A&M fans who are really upset about that.

Maybe if they would win a national title or something that will last past their current coaches, then we would have an issue with them. Or maybe not, look at Miami today.

Right now both programs are mirages completely created by the current coaches, and both programs will fall into the abyss when that coach moves on in life. Even at their historical peaks neither program is really taking a lot of talent off our table. Five stars want more out of a program than football success, like a barbershop (thank God).

If anything I know fans on both sides who in one way or another feel proud about how these programs have lifted themselves up by the bootstraps. In particular I admire how TCU has fought their way into a major conference.

I just found the post funny, especially since (if you remember the cartoon) the bulldog keeps getting his arse kicked by a kangaroo that he thinks is a cat, and in the end the little dog slaps him around.

Lol at a Georgia fan calling someone else jealous. A school that is surrounded on every side by teams that have won national championships more recently than them and a fan base that comes up with every excuse known to man to explain why they can't win one

Strangely, that's a perfect comparison.

Ironic, since:

a) They beat you last year, and
b) At the end of that cartoon, the little dog slaps around the big dog.

B is referring to after college football is over, and the little dog is conducting the job interview.

And this is kinda like if Tennessee bragged about being Handy. Great, you beat a school full of nerds. Well great, you were supposed to beat them.

It is also laughable that Ole Miss talks smack about being anybody's big brother. Being the big brother in the state of Mississippi is the equivalent of being the tallest person in a room full of midgets

And A&M fans wondered why I said their Super Bowl is National Signing Day, because to A&M fans winning recruiting battles is more important than wins on the field
