Of course he's coming back he has little chance of getting drafted....

From CBS he is projected to be the 5th QB off the board as of now for next year. Add a title and experience of another season with little mistakes and continue to show that he can place a ball and he'll move up real quick.

He needs it for his shoe-purchasing habits

Yeah, but the difference in AJ and JJ (LSU's former QB with the shoe fetish) is AJ can afford them now and isn't likely to hang out with other degenerates and get arrested for being a dumb arse.

The year Alex Smith and Aaron Rodgers got drafted was worse. Hindsight says it was actually a pretty good class, but no one wanted to trade up to get either of those guys.

Some classes are supposed to be great, i.e. 2006 with Leinart, Young, Cutler, etc., but end up being awful, and some are supposed to be bad an turn into great ones. This year's class has a lot of good QB's that could turn into great QBs on the next level.

He is the same as McElroy.

not really, but I see what you're saying from the game manager perspective. But they are actually quite different in the way they manage the game. McElroy is very smart and makes the right reads. He's most effective making quick reads and throwing short passes. McCarron is not so smart and doesnt always make the right read. He's more effective on the long and intermediate throws where he can use his arm talent. McElroy doesnt have the arm to make the throws that McCarron is best at.
