That's a ridiculous question. The exposure and prestige of the SEC is worth leaving the big 12 for. Arkansas is pretty much in their situation fast forwarded 10 years. They are much better off. Its not always about wins and losses. Besides Texas has run that conference into the ground and made it inequitable for other teams. They will always call the shots in that conference and aTm deserves better. Just like arkansas and Nebraska did. Who might not be a fit is missouri, they probably should have gone to the Big 10 passion wise. TAMU is just cultlike enough to fit in with the Madness that is the SEC. I do think they will have to change their style of play to be competitive in the long run. They can have good years when they get excellent qb play, but they need to be more stout on the defensive line and learn to rush the ball better to be consistent in this league year in and year out. Have to be able to win games when the QB struggles against the best defenses in the country. Have to be able to stop the run in the SEC or it makes for a long year.

Wow! So many resources. So little success or respect to show for it.

I've lived in Dallas for over 25 years and been hearing about the "sleeping giant" that is A&M ever since I moved here. Yet the giant still snores.

The aggies haven't been relevant in terms of actually winning anything in a fair number years...whether in the Big 12 or the SEC

The A&M that exists today is not like the one you knew. We have more resources than any other SEC school and are gearing up to change the direction. Like you said, it's been dismal for decades and that takes a long time to move past. It's happening and will continue to. If you don't see the threat of A&M, that's your own problem. At the end of the day, I don't really give a shite what podunk schools around the SEC think of A&M since we make more, have better jobs, and such.

all you texas fricks are the same. you have contributed nothing to this conference since your arrival but a douche of a heisman and a bunch of figs dressed in all white giving each other bumpkins.

do yourself and the rest of the country a favor, take your ring and shove it straight up your arse

Still your Athletic Department does not rack the money several others do, and A&M Football is nothing.

The Ags were a great addition to the conference, and every SEC member institution will reap the benefits in the form of TV revenue. Yes they are kind of like the weird uncle you hope your girl dosen't run into at the family reunion......but they do have some good qualities and they will grow on you like a stray puppy

The A&M system endowment is over $4 billion

Wow that's a lot you'd think it would be enough to buy a decent football team or at least a sense of humor

Interesting.
Recommend you talk to Aubie and see how you can turn that money into some wins.

By comparison LSU's total endowment is $568 million.

So in other words, A&M could have BOUGHT the entire LSU System twice over on just the increase in our endowment in 1 year.

"Texas A&M University Annex in Baton Rouge for Corn Dog Research" has a nice ring to it.

Very funny little brother.
