All those running backs had a better passing game. Bama made LSU pass to beat them and we proved we couldn't. (Again)

No

LSU does not have less talent than Charleston Southern, Western Kentucky, Kent State, Lousiana Monroe, etc

Except at running back apparently

Well I have to, for LF's sake, thank Bama for limiting his yardage this past weekend. If he had rolled up 200 yds on Bama, he would have had to play for the Browns where NFL dreams go to die.

I can guarantee one thing right now - Fournette will not be running scout team for LSU next year!

A running back that cant perform in big college games cant be called a bust in the NFL

It is expected for him to be bad

Because he only gained 145 yards rushing in 3 games against Alabama running behind an average OL? Against a defense that has been ranked #4, #1 and #1 against the run the last 3 years?

Mark Ingram gained 120 yards in 3 games against Auburn behind OL's full of All Americans and top 10 picks. In those years (2008-2010) Auburn was #55, #78 and #9 in rushing defense.

So I guess we shouldn't consider Mark Ingram a bust because he didn't perform well in Iron bowls.....Amirite?

One is a Heisman winning running back and the other is a runningback never considered for an invite

Do you see the difference?

Being the worst running back Alabama has faced in two years is just part of his problem

Fournette is a very talented running back. At a school with something vaguely resembling a decent offensive philosophy he's in the running for the Heisman the last couple of years.

With little help from his O-Line and no help at all from the passing game he's had to shoulder the burden of carrying the LSU offense.

If he was running behind a good O-line with a solid passing attack threat to back teams up he'd be posting obscene numbers.

Apparently you can't see the difference between Alabama and LSU's O-lines or Alabama and Auburn's defenses. Nice try dumbass.

What are you talking about

It has nothing to do with Alabama

Fournette has THE LOWEST YPC OF ANY RUNNING BACK ALABAMA HAS PLAYED IN THE LAST TWO YEARS

He is the bottom of the barrel. Of any lead running back. Even FCS teams.

But you said it has nothing to do with Alabama. Tell me, should your stupidity be attributed to the Alabama State Department of Education or decades of inbreeding?

Well I guess if it takes Alabama to prove that Fournette isnt as good of a back as a dude from Charleston Southern so be it

6 in a row

Hey did it ever occur to you that T. Rich never ran behind a offensive line like LSU has and never ran against the excellent Alabama defense.

Silly to compare athletes from different teams and different time lines.

Injuries will be the only thing to keep LF7 from being a good NFL running back.

Fournette plays for the least imaginitve offense in a power 5 conference. Alabama is extraordinary on defense. Naturally it was stacked against any lsu running back having success.

Honestly, would LF have won a Heisman at Bama? Probably two. Derrick Henry had a great year last year. He was legit. LF would excel there too. Heaven help the SEC if he were at Bama this year.

Did the LSU yardage record against Ole Miss mean nothing? Surely LSU has had one good back in history? LF and LSU only played in 12 games last year, not 13 and set a record for yards in a year.
