There are only 3.

Miles.....if all 5 losses are in SEC West...he will be extremely uncomfortable, the only way he is fired is if the offense still looks terrible though.

Richt.....no, he would not be fired.

Sumlin.....he should be fired, but if the D improves he will be OK. But of the three he is the only one that has never won championships in the SEC.

Some coaches do court wheels from what I've heard.

seriously

I would honestly stake any bet imaginable that if we were to go 8-5, richt would not just gracefully step down and say he's had enough.

LSU fans might want to fire Les after 8-5, and that would be hilarious. Their entitlement is insane.

He wouldn't get fired but his seat would be pretty hot in 16. 8-5 this year and 16 and I would say it's possible

oh, there would be a very very large portion of this fan base want his arse strung up. We could have 10 wins and 30% will still want him gone. Especially if we win ugly.

No one's getting fired for going 8-5 this year. Especially in the SEC-W.

Who was the last coach to get fired with that record? Nutt was 8-4 when he "stepped down" before our bowl game. Petrino was coming off a 11-2 season, but he wasn't fired for losing games. Muschamp was 7-5 last year, due to a cancelled game they would have won.

I think Mason is history after this year. Could be wrong, but I believe he's a coordinator at best.

are we talking about the same coach... (at Vandy)

hell 8 wins in this conference for Vandy just aint all that bad.

Les has a warm seat, so 8-5 would make it hot.

His buyout is way too huge for him to have any shot at being fired anyways

I think his buyout goes down 4 million each season, but I could be way off.

When Long and Arkansas bluffed a "5 million offer" at Les, he didn't get a fat raise or anything. He got an overwhelmingly large buyout.

So Sumlin should be fired..but no mention of Freeze who has less wins and bowl wins.

Your obsession with wanting A&M to fail is showing

And even as much money as the aggies have, I assume Sumlin has a massive buyout like Les after his most recent extension

The Chavis coup absolutely bought him 2 more seasons, and I think that is pretty fair
