obviously Saban has too much reserve cred built up, but if you're

UGA?

LSU?

what say you?

(obviously I mean specifically THIS YEAR)

Ain't no SEC HC getting fired this season. Mason better tighten up, but they probably give him one more year.

Don't think it'd get Richt fired this year, but if we'd gone 8-5 in 2011 or 2012 it would have.

Depends on how we got to 8-5. Complete coaching blunders.... maybe

Did several of our main contributing starters get injured, or get arrested for beating up a group of outstanding citizens for honking at them.... He stays

I doubt 8-5 gets Miles fired, but 3 consecutive will

Sumlin would get a bump to 5 million a year
Butch Jones would get a 10 year extension

content not to win the SEC again this season too?

8-5 doesn't get Les fired but his arse gets hot and some assistants become sacrificial lambs for sure. I'll never be convinced that the reason we had to settle on Steels is because of the overall lack of 100% commitment from the administration to assure Les his job is secure.

You should be Duke fans. We went 6-7 and built a shrine to Coach Cut.

His seat would be extrmely hot in 16, and I could be wrong, but I think he'd get another year if we went 8-5 this fall.

nah,, Aggies are too much like us right now,, the fanbase is just too euphoric to go off on the coach right now..

maybe in 2 or 4 years for Aggie.. (Pinkel could not win a game in 10 years and not get fired)

He wouldn't get fired but his seat would be pretty hot in 16. 8-5 this year and 16 and I would say it's possible

8-5 would put UK back to 2007 with Woodson when they beat Florida State in the Music City Bowl. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that wouldn't get Stoops fired.
