Les is here for at least the next two years barring a total collapse. If he wins 8 or less either of the next two years, then he's done after 2016 season.

I know for a 100% fact that this is true.

You learned something new about me WG. I'm working on future schedules, any requests?

I will not panic about LSU football until Les wins les than 8 games. So 8-5 doesn't get you fired.

For 8-5? No. Anything under 7 wins will get them fired though. (For those coming off 8-5 records)

I think Mason is history after this year. Could be wrong, but I believe he's a coordinator at best.

8-5 will definitely send sumlin to the unemployment office. but, I predicted he would get fired after 3 years anyway.

No, but there would be some restlessness.

I don't think Richt gets fired for 6 wins. With the upswing in recruiting and the talent the team is bringing in I don't see him stepping down anytime soon. I still don't think we will be very good this year but I hope I am wrong. I could see us getting much stronger with a settled QB situation but I will remain skeptical. Should be fun to watch the battles with UT with how they are recruiting in the next few seasons.

8-5 got half of our entire coaching staff fired last year.

Underachieving at Auburn 2 years in a row even after hiring a new DC would probably put him in hot water but I think his championship run would buy him at least 2 more years at a minimum and the fanbase loves him.

We have a second year DC and a first year OC. Nobody would get fired for having a down year but I could see how our fanbase and stuff would be frustrated.

I'm not sure what would happen if we went 6-6. We've only been in that situation once before, and he wasn't fired then (but was given an ultimatum). Also keep in mind we went on a slide from 10-3, 8-5, then 6-7 so we were clearly trending down. Right now, we seem to be trending up.

Plus, outside of a freak situation like in 10 (losing best player for 4 games, breaking in a brand new defensive scheme from the previous one and trying to fit in new personnel, playing a freshman QB, etc) I don't even see how we woudl do that. We essentially have 5 games that should be pretty much guaranteed wins. The odds of us going 1-6 in the rest are staggeringly low.

I don't even think his seat would be mild.

Chizik's situation was entirely different. EVERYONE could see that he was a bum and they only won big because of his coordinators and cam. Not so with gus. He actually looks like a competent coach, and has won big without any true superstars (like a cam I mean). EVen if they went 8-5 again, even though people woudl be upset obviously, I don't think anyone would seriously start to question his seat temperature.

It should for LSU but my guess is Miles would get another shot in 2016. If he hit 6 regular season losses I think it's over.

That said, however I think LSU will be strong this year and think Miles can actually reverse the trend from the past 3 years.

Going to be a fun season. I expect most of the Western division games to be real fun.
