Wrong, the SEC would get the same amount of bowl games that they get every year. I really think it is dumb to root for your rivals because they are in the same conference. I go into every football season hoping LSU goes undefeated and Alabama, Florida, and Ar-kansas goes winless

This would make LSU a mid major. I'd rather LSU go undefeated and the rest of the SEC be 1-2 loss teams. Who wants to smack around a bunch of scrubs all year like Boise State?

Protecting the shield right here! SEC!

People who root for a conference are morons.

Not really, I would say fan fan support like that is the reason the SEC has become so dominant.

I personally never root for the SEC to win (unless they are playing a team I really hate, AKA USC or Michigan).

I don't get the team SEC stuff. SEC already has the NCAA wrapped around its finger, we dont need the SEC to win every OOC game to determine that. I'm all about looking out of my team. Bama/LSU win a championship/BCS/Big Bowl, well that helps them even more with recruiting even more than than already. That keeps good players from going to my team. So in the end, I do not want other SEC teams to do well because it has an direct effect on the performance of my team.

I personally wouldn't mind if the SEC went 1-8 in bowl season so long as my team won. F the rest of the SEC.

Always. If we had another major program in state to compete with LSU then I may pull against them but it would be hard

WAS USC SEEN AS A MID MAJOR THE LAST DECADE??
THEY COULD LOSE 6 GAMES IN THE PETE CARROL ERA AND STILL GET THE AP NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

My response was to the guy that said he wished that all other SEC teams would lose every OOC game. That's not USC, who actually plays in a BCS conference. That's Boise State who plays WAC teams, half of whom should be in the FCS.

Do you want to go 13-0 every other year and have people laugh at you when you talk about why you should be in the NC?

And to the people who are saying that the SEC is "established" as the premier football conference, I say you're being extremely short sighted. It wasn't too long ago that the Big 10 was the major football conference. And it was even more recent when the ACC was the major bball league.
