I see the rationale there but if a team just makes it to the NC, that alone will bolster their recruiting efforts enough to challenge the SECW teams' efforts.

This... except I have been guilty of rooting against highly ranked SECW teams early in the season vs. OOCs in big games (to crush their spirits before we have to play them later on).

All depending on the circumstances. Most of the time I am pulling for the SEC, more times than not. However in the the last BCSNS, I was quacking.

I'm exactly the same way.. As much hate as I had for old Arky during the season, I found myself in a revolutionary furor for Arky during the Ohio State game.. I was saying go Buckeyes before the game, only to say woopigsuie during it

Yeh,I'm basically that way in most Games in which I don't have anything at stake.Minutes into the Game I'll get a gut feeling on which Team I want to Win.

If LSU takes care of business, they will get what they deserve.
I'll never root for an SEC team in OOC games unless it directly helps LSU. I'll be pulling for Georgia, because a 1 loss Boise State will help if LSU loses a game down the road.

Unless it's Arkansas, got a soft spot for them.
And... in bowl games, cause I like being able to use the SEC resume as a trump card.

I pull for any SEC team, with the exception of UThug and State. Well, as long as it doesn't hurt Kentucky, and for the sake of my sanity, Bama.

I can understand that but the better the other teams do the more money that comes into the SEC, which means more money being paid to your LSU Tigers.
