Either we beat them, and get no credit because we're supposed to beat a school like Arkansas, or we lose, and it is the end of the world because Mizzou should never lose to a school the caliber of Arkansas. There is no upside to playing them.

If you continue beating us, we'll probably just steal your coach, again.

Yeah, it's usually a game we need to win, but there's never been any animosity, at all. I want to take a trip to Lexington some time.

Lexington can be a lot of fun, if you know what to do and where to go. It's not one of the SEC "college towns", more of a city, so people get a bit turned off by it. You can have a lot of fun there though.

Ole Miss and Vanderbilt have played 89 times. It's not just another game.

they're complaining about who others get to play or just getting rid of permanent cross-division games

Keeping the permanent cross-divisional rivalry games has been pushed by the Little Eight teams solely to guarantee that the Big Six teams would have play each other more, increasing odds that the SEC Championship Game will not be an all-Big Six affair. This has worked to a large extent--none of the current cross-divisional rivals have ever played each other a second time that season in the SECCG.

Okay, but that makes aTm even shittier cause we own ya.

I like aTm and consider y'all a bro in the SEC. But don't act like you're better than us...cause the record yells otherwise.

#4 Mizzou vs. Arkansas - at least this is a natural rival

Not much of a rivalry. We work them every time.

Playing Arkansas every season is a no win proposition for Mizzou. Either we beat them, and get no credit because we're supposed to beat a school like Arkansas, or we lose, and it is the end of the world because Mizzou should never lose to a school the caliber of Arkansas. There is no upside to playing them. I wish we could go back to playing A&M as our cross divisional rival.

That is a quality troll.

Bama vs UT: it don't get any better than that? It's been, what, a decade or more since UT has won, and the winning point spread has been in the 20's I believe? It's nothing like it used to be & is no longer a must see game in the SEC, let alone across the country.

I like the UK/State matchup. Would not call it a rivalry, but we've played some hellacious games over the years. Starkville is a very underrated road trip. Hell of a lot more fun than it used to be, and you can actually spread out and BREATH there. State fans make a good showing in Lexington, tend to be very congenial, and stuff those effing cowbells if they aren't sitting in the visitors section.

If you really believe that, then you don't understand SEC rivalries.
