I'd rather we didn't have a permanent cross division game so LSU could play UGA, Tenn, and SC more often. But if I had to pick one game for LSU to have every year I'd pick Florida. May not be a true rivalry but the games are usually fun as hell

With 14 teams in the conference I don't mind rotating. It gives fair chance to everybody.

but then again, I can't imagine not having Alabama on schedule every year. That's like OU playing Texas every 5 years. or Ohio State playing Michigan every once in a while.

No. You aren't supposed to like your rival.

Rather have Vanderbilt than Kentucky; easier & nicer trip & my dad went there.

in 1883 the Texas legislature made us a rival in Austin. That wasn't a great year for the state

It doesn't get much better than Tennessee vs. Alabama and Georgia vs. Auburn. These are interchangeable at #1 and #2.

Disagree. Deep South's Oldest Rivalry has been great over the last decade. Alabama/Tennessee has been boring.

#3. Florida - LSU would move into the 1 and 2 category here if LSU embraced this a little bit more.

It's been better than Alabama/Tennessee. A&M/Florida would be a great cross division matchup however. The Denim Derby: Jorts vs Overalls.

#4 Mizzou vs. Arkansas - at least this is a natural rival

I will watch this every year I possibly can and there aren't more compelling matchups on. It's more interesting to me than Florida/FSU, UGA/Tech, USC/Clemson.

This is the hang-up for most Tiger fans. It's also a shame that the players don't get to experience playing every other school at least once in their careers. I would be in favor of the 9-game conference schedule to help correct this some.

I could say that Auburn fans are members of a strange cult that defaults to playing the victim when things go wrong. However, I'm going to be the bigger man and not say that.

I love the Ole Miss rivalry. It really is one of my favorite games every year. It's fun and competitive. Their fans in general are pretty cool.

I love the LSU UF game. It wasn't a whole lot of fun in the 90's but since 2000 the game has been a good one..

... no, but seriously, all kidding aside.

Y'all are gay as Caitlyn - gay as frick. But I'm sorta starting to be okay with having to put-up with you homos every year. It's going to work-out well in the long run IMHO ... has potential to develop into a great rivalry.

Now, with regard to the OP who claimed Ole Miss and Vandy and MSU/KY are not good rivalry games ... OP is an idiot. Vandy/Ole Miss games were some of the best games I've attended in my life back in the day when I was living in Olive Branch. Except for that one worst game that I'll never forget ... but that is a great old SEC rivalry.

I think we love the UF game, we just wish we got to play UGA and Tenn more. If there was a way to keep UF and add Georgia I'd be ecstatic.
