AU came back and punched LSU in the mouth in the 2nd half and your team was gasping for air at the end.

Talk about revisionist history. The lead in that game was never less than 14.

In the third it was 28-7.

28-7
28-14
35-14
35-21 (with 633 left)

Punched in the mouth.

The scores you posted dispute this.

Yeah, LSU won the game and ran it down AU's throat... that said, I'll take a loss to LSU every year if AU is in the BCSCG in return. No excuse, LSU was the better team on that night...

You guys have an answer for everything. No miracles, no luck, just manifest destiny and those incredible plays were just the universe correcting itself to ensure the plan went as designed.

If Winston is running for the game winning touchdown, I expect the earth to open up and swallow him. And the auburn fans will say "not a miracle, if you didn't see that coming then your a marron."

If FSU can stop the run, they will win. Nick Marshall isn't beating anybody with his arm and FSU will get their points. FSU is 2nd in points scored and 1st in scoring D, which is impressive despite the lackluster schedule

Edited for clarity.

Auburn would be the first SEC west team to win the BCS championship with a double digit beat down on its resume.

You're right. The rain must have stopped every time LSU was on the field.

quote:

quote: Didn't Jeremy Hill run down your throats? AU experimented with an unusual defense for 3 plays and that is where Hill got all of his yards.

Let's excuse those plays bc your coach had your defense out of position?

quote:

No they couldn't have. Once we shifted back to our base D, LSU had to work for their points and yards.

And got them nonetheless.

Look, I think FSU loses. But you sound like a bitch trying to downplay your loss with excuses and shite on all the teams who almost (but didn't) beat you. The LSU game wasn't close but it was a fluke BUT all the teams that took y'all down to the wire... Well, the game was just never in doubt and auburn had shite under control.

Be happy that you're playing in the championship game and quit trying to prove yourselves like you just got in the league or something. You sound like a mizzou fan.

The pass in the UGA game was lucky and/or miraculous, but I don't apologize for that one because we stopped UGA on 4th down and they gave them the TD and we dominated most of that game.

The Alabama game wasn't miraculous or lucky, just a great game that could have gone either way and we made a great play to win it.

I agree. Everyone knows how unstable the earth is in Southern California. Pasadena has had 8 quakes in the past 7 days.

Heard this a few times recently. I recommend a new strategy...that one doesn't seem to be panning out.

Only team luckier than '13 Auburn was '02 Ohio State.

'13 Auburn is even luckier than last year's Notre Dame squad and season.

Sometimes that fairy dust wears off by the time the big game rolls around - and then it's just FSU NFL talent vs. Aubbies' lost magic.

No wonder smart wise-guys love FSU in Vegas.

Exactly my point. You're in the BCSNCG. No shame in that at all.

Wut? I said they played in the rain. Are you using rantard arguments here?

Not excusing the play, just pointing out that other than a few early plays, the game was much more even than people pretend.

And got them nonetheless.

But not at a rate greater than AU.

Look, I think FSU loses.
You are more confident than I am.

I'm not dowplaying shite. Just speaking the truth. Sorry it pisses you off that LSU didn't annihilate AU the way some pretend. LSU won and deserved to win.

The LSU game wasn't close but it was a fluke
Never said it was fluke.

More strawmen. Way to go.

I am.

Just talking football, not trying to prove anything.

FSU is lucky to not have to play UGA,Mizzou, BAMA, LSU, TAMU and ole miss... Auburn deserves to be there even if Ohio state lost.

Not to mention Clemson and Miami were't bad football teams

those are 2 good wins IMO
