It hit me while watching coverage of Harvey and Houston. In protesting the flag and the country, these people are also protesting actions like the brave people who risked their own safety to help strangers in Houston. Volunteers helping others in need and awesome sights like the Cajun Navy lined up on Hwy10 don't happen in countries that aren't free.

tl/dr: GFY protestors

Does that "USA fan" under you username mean that you are a fan of Univ. of South Alabama?

I put it in there during the World Cup. I would change it, but I don't like the Alabama logo they have on here, and they don't have the logo of any other team I like.

I wonder how many on here upset about the "disrespect" for the US flag also support the Confederate flag?

You mean the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia which, is commonly mistaken for 1 of 3 actual Confederate States of America flags (Stars and Bars, Stainless Banner, and Blood Stained Banner) ? Or the flag that was never officially adopted by the Confederacy?

The amount of misinformation by snowflakes is quite frankly pathetic. If you want to get upset about a flag start with Mississippi or Georgia.

People bringing attention to the stupid shite is what has made it such a hot topic. You are contributing to their efforts by making this thread. Congrats.

Naw, you're the type of idiot that's emboldened this un-American dumbassery. It's the duty of all patriots to call this BS out and stop the "fundamental transformation" of America in its tracks!

The spin on this topic is hilarious. The flag represents every the entire country, not just a soldier. There was never any intent or no reason to protest a soldier. Dumbest argument ever on this topic. It's the best excuse you have to justifying shutting those voices up. The flag is supposed represent every citizen, not just soldiers. Those who have experience racism and those who haven't. Those who speak out and fight for change and those who want to shut them up no matter how violent or how peaceful the protest is.

People riot in the streets, they're all idiots. People sit or kneel for attention that you keep giving them, they're still idiots. Some people don't want others to stand up in anyway. They are enablers of hate and racism. That's the only reason those people get mad.

Agreed. A long time ago. I see BS on here, I'm going to respond. Just rather talk about the games and current rosters. Don't want a back and forth on social, political, and racial topics, post it on another board.

It's not Kaepernick's fault that your friends died.
That's your politicians who start wars over resources.
