So you don't think it's appropriate to honor our country (as every other country does theirs) and those who fought and died for it, at events that bring people together?

I don't know of any from MSU but I do know a reporter asked Dak why he chooses to stand and his response made me proud to have had him as a bulldog

I don't understand how they think they're making a positive impact by doing that. It's not a persuasive argument.

There's 100 threads about it on the Rant. It's working. Those men have every right to sit, stand, or squat. The only people that don't get it are the people bitching and trying to make it into something it's not. If you're feeling a little political and all that BS, take this to the poli board and have your meeting there.

On the more sports board maybe, but there hasn't been too many here.

I don't have a problem at all when it's confined to one thread and don't see why anyone would, just don't click on it if you don't want to read,

As far as the instigator Colin goes, I hope his girlfriend dumps his arse and he devolves until he's living on the streets dirty, cold and begging for food. It's obvious the man can't think for himself and latched on to a miserable bitch who controls his every thought and move.

frick you. The thread is related to SEC football players and this is an SEC football forum. Also, nobody said anything about them not having a right to do it, but that it was/is a short sighted, stupid way to make their protest. We have the same right to state publicly what we think of them for doing it.

Forgive us for not being a bunch of whiny bitches who collect million dollar paychecks while crying about the fact that society doesn't love them enough. Most of them have never lifted a finger to solve the real problems that impact the communities from whence they came, instead carrying out "inspiring" but largely meaningless community activity like delivering groceries that someone else bought and handed to them right before the camera showed up.

Kaepernick is a punk bitch. What makes it worse is that he is ignorant as frick. What is worse than that is the people who are complicit in his stupidity. Why do most "journalists" bring up his kneeling but they don't bring up the Pig Cop socks he wore to practice, the Castro shirt he wore, or how his girlfriend called Ray Lewis a house "you know what."

I don't think it's necessary or appropriate to play the national anthem at sporting events between two teams from the same country.

To me, it just wastes time.

I sure hope your opinion doesn't become the norm in this country. You honestly don't feel a need to publicly acknowledge the sacrifice that past Americans have made to preserve your way of life?...really?

The media should concentrate more on this kind of profile story!

It's not controversial though. That's why you won't hear about it.

At a sporting event? No. Maybe if sporting events were unique to this country, but they aren't.

The announcer should say now its time for the national anthem and u can sit, stand, kneel, turn your back, sleep or do whatever you want to. This will frick their protest up.

I'm not here to try to e-thug with you. These keyboards don't hurt a bit. But to respond like an adult, this thread was not started to discuss any players making plays, coaches on the hot seat, or referrees fcking up. It was clearly started to show how many we had with rustled jimmies who didn't need another reason the show their color or disguised hate.

This thread will never have anything to do with this season or past seasons. Clearly brought here to talk about race. Take this shite to another board where you can yell all you want and high five people who feel like you.

Threads are started when former players die, when a player gets in trouble, when the NCAA meets, when people want to talk about differences in conferences, etc., etc....This forum encompasses 100s of various topics involving the SEC. This is just another thread to be discussed. It's sounds to me like you're a little sensitive about the matter, and don't want to confront it....well then don't open the fricking thread.

My dad and I are good friends. I dunno when I watched my friends carted by in flag draped caskets and then watch a bitch like Kaepernick it does irritate me. He has a right not to stand. The owners have a right not to employ him.
