LSU should beat aTm. If they don't it will be because of clock mismanagement.

Chavis will have the def. ready. LSU fans all say that the offense is much improved this year. If so, then they will be able to hang with JFF points wise.

JFF is a much better and improved QB this year. Will be a higher scoring total points game this year.

i've watched every down LSU has played this season, I know our defense a hell of a lot better than you.

Since you know your Defense so well, how does it compare to that incredible D from the 2011 LSU team?

halfway point for A&M. 2nd half of the season, brah. 2nd half of the season.

It was the 7th game for TAMU, it was OCT 20th, they scored 59 points the week before against LA Tech

Weak arse argument

What people fail to realize is, Bamas D isn't the model on how to stop Manziel.

Lot of truth to that. Also the key guy may not be JFF....might be Evans.

Johnny Football didn't get going until later in the season though. LSU kind of got lucky with having A&M early.

Yeah, he threw for over 1,000 yards and rushed for over 400 yards in the three games leading up to the LSU game last year. Thank God he wasn't really hitting stride until after he played LSU. We were their 7th game. Come on now...

I forgot to add that he accounted for 12 TDs in the three games prior to LSU and they scored 147 points in those three games.

Man I don't know all three teams will be so different come November. Defenses will have settled and offenses will be clicking on all cylinders by then. I will say that all three are capable of beating each other. I give aTm a better chance than I had before but LSU and Bamas defense will be better and I don't think aTm offense will improve any significant amount between now and then. JFF as great as he is several onhose passes thrown up for grabs should have been intercepted and 9/10 times they are. He does that against LSU and I think they will make him pay for it.

It looks to me like a lot of teams have figured out when Alabama plays man coverage you can throw to covered receivers. The cornerbacks never play the ball in the air. The corners can be draped over the receiver but the receiver can still make the catch cause the CB's don't play the ball.

This happened frequently in the A&M/Bama game and probably accounted for 250 yards of offense. I doubt LSU will make the same mistake. Frankly, I expect Chavis to do a better coaching job against A&M than Saban did.

We all know LSU will run the ball all over A&M. If there aren't an excessive amount of miracle Manziel plays (he's used up at least 3 against Bama) I see LSU winning.

There was speculation on the TexAgs forums about Mike Evans' Heisman speech. It goes like this:

"Thanks"

That is one guy you don't want to get into a bar fight with. I'm a huge fan. He owns the term "badass".

The main guy was Evans. I don't know if there is a DB in the league that can cover him. Phenomenal WR.

Nope. And, nothing personal AU fans, we won't learn anything about LSU this weekend either.

IMO it doesn't. It compares more to 2010's defense. Lotsa youngins, but all talented players, and get better as the season goes on.

LSU has been playing a ton of frosh in the second quarter the last couple games. Should be a fun group to watch as the season goes on.

We can't all be burdened with a tough schedule like Bama's.

Texas A&M probably score 50 more than TCU did... so that means... LSU has to score 90 to beat Texas A&M? I don't know if they are up to the task.

There isn't any. The D is good but if they finish the season top 15-20 I'll be surprised and pleased.

I don't think LSU loses at home. I also think they beat Bama. I am concerned about Georgia, and to a lesser extent, Ole Miss (sneaky against LSU).
