Doubt aTm can beat LSU in tiger stadium at night. If they do, that's one helluva victory

They certainly could beat us. Can't wait to play Georgia to see how we stack up against a really good team. Everyone knew A&M's defense sucked arse after the Rice game. So far Miles' team looks pretty stout.

If LSU eliminates the mental mistakes Bama made like horse collaring a guy headed out of bounds and what 10 false starts, then they win by 21 like Bama should have.

Do you think TCU's offense is better than A&M's? If not, how do you expect LSU's defense to hold us back if they couldn't stop TCU?

Evans is going to bend that secondary over.

Inb4 delusional LSU fans try to tell us their DBs have a chance against him. You're not stopping him this year just accept it lol

Rock solid analysis. How can I refute any of that?

Theres no fricking way in hell we beat A&M and Bama and lose to UF. I have LSU going 11-1 with a loss to UGA.

UGA vs LSU for the SEC ship.

Well, I mean he has a point. We fumbled on the 1, which was a sure touchdown sorta thing. So, there's 7 points. And we had over 100 yards in penalties. SUPER uncharacteristic of us. Surely it's reasonable to assume that's 3 points at least. And we did get the shite end of some REALLY important flag calls. But I won't attach points to those, however I could easily say we'd have gotten the ball back once or twice when y'all went on to score.

Still, it was a shootout. At the end of the day it all roughly evens itself out over the course of a season.

A&M at the end of the year last year was better than they are this year. Their O is better now, but their D is way worse.

I like LSU in this one. As of now.

I wouldn't look into the rest of the conferences opinion on defense to much, except for UF. They're just not used to seeing teams held under 600 yds this season. So, to make themselves feel better they try to say allowing 254 yds to TCU is somehow letting them "score" all over us.

Come on man. We killed a drive to yall's 20 on a weak offensive PI that Evans didn't need to do to make the catch. 3-7 points lost The TO in the endzone was uncharacteristic of a QB that was stellar the rest of the game.3-7 (probably 7) points lost. The other pick easily could have been batted down if our WR was paying attention. Etc.

The perfect game is an ethereal goal that will never be grasped. That's football. There will always be mistakes.

Johnny Football didn't get going until later in the season though. LSU kind of got lucky with having A&M early.

Mett overthrew 3 TD's that day. Going to be different in Tiger Stadium. Their defense is way worse than last year. Ours is down slightly, but still top half of SEC and plenty of speedy DB's and LB's.

The game being later in the season helps our defense just as much as their offense. Holding them to less than 30 points is very reasonable. Our offense scoring more than that on their D is also likely.

So your young D will improve as the year goes on and our true fish on defense will stay the exact same. Got it.

We may beat LSU, we may not. Right now, I'm leaning toward no because of our D.

That said, the fact that you all held us to 19 points last year means almost nothing. That was 10 months ago. Johnny had 2 more months of practice last season after the LSU game (and got better every week). He went through spring ball. He spent a couple weeks in San Diego working with Whitfield. He looks like a much, much better as a passer this year than he did at any point last season (And it isn't just that he hasn't played a Chavis defense, I promise).

Evans, his favorite target, spent the offseason working out and is now in the mid 230s. He's also 100% healthy (he played almost all of last season with a pulled hamstring), which makes him a legit downfield threat. All together, he is a legit Biletnikoff candidate. He is one of WRs in the country, if not the best.

Not only that, but both Manziel and the rest of the team are much more familiar with the offensive scheme. They're executing much better and are making less mistakes. You all are fricking delusional if you think that it's gonna be the same result as last year. If you want to beat us, your O is going to have to show up and play a great game (which is admittedly not that hard against our D)
