No doubt. We also get Florida from the East. What looks to be the easiest SEC opponents on our schedule (Mizzou, AU, MSU) are all road games. Just brutal.

Yeah, I just can't buy into Ole Miss considering all of their off the field nonsense. Not to mention the talent they lost to the draft this past season.
I don't think they'll be terrible, but I would be surprised if they didn't lose at least 3 SEC games.

We may very well lose two games, but none will be out of conference. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we went 1-2 against LSU, UT, and Ole Miss.
Well, I will say this much...LSU's entire season, and thus Les Miles's career, depend almost entirely on the game with Alabama. If LSU doesn't win this year, they are likely to lose to Arkansas yet again the following week. It isn't so much that Arkansas is a great team...it's the idea of playing two of the most physically dominating teams in the entire country in back to back weeks.
Honestly I think that even if LSU is to beat Alabama, they probably STILL lose to Arkansas the next week. Simply because playing a team like Alabama requires more than a week's recovery time. Follow it up with another team that likes to beat the shite out of you and, as recent memory has shown, LSU just isn't tough enough to take it.
But if LSU can't pull out a victory this year against Alabama, it's an almost certainty that they drop two in a row yet again. And if the wheels fall off again this season, Miles is gone.
For these reasons above, I cannot pick LSU to win the West. They haven't shown lately that they have enough in their sack to finish out the western schedule...most talented team in the history of football or not. They aren't tough enough. It's a reflection of poor coaching.
ETA: What I think this means for Alabama is that Alabama is going to get a damn good game with LSU this year. Miles is going to throw the kitchen sink at Saban because -- despite him seeming to be an absolute moron when you hear him speak -- I think he knows that his job security is riding on the Alabama game.
So honestly, for Alabama fans, it may be best to go ahead and get a loss under their belts to a team like USC in week one. Alabama has enough talent every year that they can bounce back from an early loss and run the table despite all odds.

I never said that shite.
I only predicted them to lose one last year.
To Arkansas.

LaTech gonna be in struggle bus against teams like Arkansas friend. They aren't as talented up front this season as last. Also lost KD. Lack anyone comparable to him.
TCU is TCU. Gonna have a swiss cheese defense and fun offense. I'll take an SEC team with vs them every day and twice on Sunday. TCU has SDSU first game who has a really exciting offense as well. TCU might get all they want first week but probably not.
Mizzou in November is supposed to scare Arkansas? Give me a break Aggie.

Yeah, Bielema has done an excellent job bringing him along.
Most of the time that he has been in there it has been the ground and pound show. Letting him get acclimated to the speed of the SEC but not putting much on his plate.
He has done well enough so far when he HAS thrown the ball, completing about 50% of his passes and tossing a few TDs.
He is going to explode this year. You heard it here first.

There's a difference between a Sophomore with 19 career attempts and a 4th year junior with 19 career attempts. Not to mention his dad is a former college football coach, his bro is in the NFL, and during the limited time he saw against Ole Miss two years ago when his brother went down he looked pretty good. He's a 4 star out of high school who is head and shoulders above the other 3 four star QB's we have on campus. Not a reach to say he's more "seasoned" than your typical first year starting QB.

You guys were tough for me. I wanted to put you 4th or 5th, but I just think Vandy's "D" and Mizzou's "D" keeps them ahead of you. I am completely open to the suggestion that I have no idea what I am talking about, though. My wife tells me that all the time.
