You're severely underestimating OU's o-line and run game.

Actually I am not. It was the Georgia fans who were saying "no way will OU be able to run on us" and they proceeded to do just that. We have a far superior running game and run blocking scheme to OU. Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder even know this. Hurts is not Mayfield. We know that. Defense wins championships. Yours has been torched several times this year and you had the luxury of the rest of your games against the Florida's, Tennesse's, Kentucky's, and Vandy's of the world which skewed your stats.

You act like Oklahoma's running backs are terrible. They're really good, and that offense is insane. They'd put up points on Bama too.

Sure but still, giving respect to Mayfield down the field let Anderson get loose all game long. To a lesser extent in the 2nd half, but he was still getting his yards then.

I really don't think people get how exotic Oklahoma's offense is to the SEC though. They're not just a spread offense, but they go lightning fast, their FB is a threat in the pass, and in general it's different. Alabama would have likely struggled at first too, maybe not to the same extent, but definitely.

Expect Georgia to load the box vs Alabama and mysteriously, those rushing yards will be cut down again. It's not to say Alabama doesn't have a chance to win, they do, but if you expect Alabama to score more than 20-24 points, prepare to be surprised.

UGA isn't going to need 54 points to beat Bama. With Bama's offense, UGA might only need 14 to win.

I have no doubt that OU would pass on us in a similar fashion like they did against you. Again, that isn't a big deal it is what they do and what they are very good at. It is the way they ran all over you and had 531 total yards and 48 points that should worry you. When healthy there isn't a better Defense in the nation than Alabama. We are healthy (and hungry) now.

Just a small difference between Mayfield and Hurts lol

In an SEC chess match games like I'm anticipating, it could honestly come down to punters.

I think your analysis guarantees a much lower scoring game, but not necessarily a Alabama victory.

UGA isn't getting 14 if we play like we did last night. Just a simple Fact. They will not score if we play like that. That was a brutal lesson in how to play Defense as you found out in the 2011 BCS Championship Game.

Short answer. Bama's D is a lot better than OU's. UGA also plays good D, OU is just very good offensively. Should be a good game but a lot less scoring than in the Rose Bowl.

Even shorter answer. The team that fumbles the least wins.

If UGA's defense is able to properly defend the woefully underthrown pass play, they've got a great chance in this game.

Combine that with a D that just gave up 531 to OU
So....below their average?

Crazy shite is, this season, we've both got good ones... I'm pretty stoked for the game... To be the man, you gotta beat the man... or something like that.

First of many important matchups I hope.

Comparing anything from the game OU and UGA just played other than the competitive spirit and will that UGA showed to a game with Alabama is just silly. UGA was forced into an Alabama-Texas A&M 2013 type shootout and they just said "alright" and went out and won it. They played a basketball game, which is not what Georgia is accustomed too, and because comfortable in a spot where they just needed to win enough possessions on defense to hold serve. That's Oklahoma's game and Georgia beat them at it. That's a helluva testament to players and coaches.

What UGA was pressed into doing and what will happen next Monday are going to look like 2 different sports.
