Bama won the turnover battle (1-0), got the onside kick (basically a turnover) and had a kickoff return after a field goal. Great call by Bama on the onside.

I also thought Clemson was wilting a bit under the physicality of Alabama - a lot of Clemson players were slow getting off the turf in the second half last night.
If not for Watson improvising, Clemson doesn't have a prayer in this game - looked like a young Mike Vick out there.

you think the majority of the kids in college right now were huge alabama fans when they were children? given your current OOS enrollment, I'd lean towards no. in 2014, your out of state enrollment for the freshman class nearly doubled your in state enrollment

Clemson had bama on the ropes in the 3 rd qtr but twice inside bama 50, no points. Bamas defense was getting tired yet clemsons qb kept going for the score instead of first downs. Two fg's or a score there, and I believe it's a different outcome. If other sec coaches don't see this is the way to beat bama, it's their own fault. Yes I'm talking to you clm.

Saban out coached Dabo. Simple as that. If Bama was so dominate why did Bama revert to a trick play. Let's face it, it was a brilliant play call but any play outside the norm is s gimmick or trick play.
