Kudos to Watson on a great game, but at the end Alabama had more explosive playmakers than Clemson. Clemson on offense was a one man show.

Bama had Henry, Howard, Drake, and Stewart who made big plays.

I also thought Clemson was wilting a bit under the physicality of Alabama - a lot of Clemson players were slow getting off the turf in the second half last night.

If not for Watson improvising, Clemson doesn't have a prayer in this game - looked like a young Mike Vick out there.

Clemson played about as well as they could play and much better than I expected them to.

If our DB's play the damn ball that game is a blowout though. No disrespect to Clemson meant. Watson is a straight up baller.

Clemson was banged up going into the game and it showed when Alexander got hurt.

Well to be fair if clemsons DB show up, that's 14 points at least off Bama's total

Yep. Special teams play and coaching. Saban is the GOAT.

Hey guys did you know if saban wasn't at bama they wouldn't be that good?

Seriously, I will punch anyone who says to me in person anything along the lines of "If you take away Deshaun Watson it's not close", that includes you Urban Meyer.

Oh, your "playmakers" didn't do crap except for that one nice catch by Stewart. I could have scored those TD's that Howard scored last night. Clemson just went full derp there.

Difference in the game was that nobody informed Clemson that TEs are eligible receivers.

Yes, because #9 ripping through seven tackles and taking the ball 40 yards downfield in the 4th was a true sign of Bama's superior endurance.

It was a hard-fought game by both sides. I don't know why Bama fans can't be good sports about it.

I mean, you could say this about clemson and their blown coverages, no? game would at least look a little different if their safeties cover Howard on a play ir two. not saying bama wouldnt score on those drives, but they would at least have to work harder than thry did to get it.

yep Alabama fans will never ever say the losing team may have outplayed them, but they're certainly not afraid to say they outplayed someone when they lose. They also don't know how to give a full compliment to another team. It's always introduced with a "they were great but..." or something along those lines. The arrogance is just astounding. I honestly don't know what some of their younger fans are going to do when they actually have to experience losing

Clemson beat Bama in both trenches and had a slightly better game plan on both sides of the ball.

Bama made about 3 or 4 perfect calls that the players executed to perfection, which turned out to be the difference in the game.

It was a great game. Can't take anything away from either team.

Clemson didn't look like a top rank team in the 2nd half. Kudos to Bama

To be fair, if Dominick Jackson doesn't crap the bed all game killing drives, Bama wins by 21.

see how that works
