Nope. Chose to go to a more prestigious private university. Even though my Dad, brother, sister, and girlfriend all went to Mizzou. Felt it would give me a better shot at going to a good grad school. I achieved my end goal, but probably could've done the same with a bit more elbow grease at Mizzou.

Honestly one of my life's biggest regrets.

May go there for my PhD, if I'm living in the area.

Graduated last December. And for those who say ppl who didn't go there can be just as good of fans, I agree. But you don't have your memories and experiences tied to the university. You didn't spend the years on the campus that people who went there did. Graduates are more emotionally tied to the university. That said, it doesn't make them better fans.

This is true, but college isnt the only place to achieve this. I have deeply rooted feelings from my time in the service which run deeper than any bond you can have while doing shots and trying to get laid at some frat house. After being out for 20 years I still get chills hearing the National Anthem and tear up when seeing stories of families being reunited. Looking back I wouldn't have changed a thing. Everyone has their own road travel and I'm glad where mine has lead me.......so yes. I'm a t- shirt fan.

I graduated from A&M. Proud of it.

But I don't think it matters if anyone graduated or even attended the college they root for. Certainly doesn't matter to me.

This whole T shirt argument had more relevance back in the SWC and Big 12 days. When kids that went to Southwest Texas State would talk shite to Aggies. That in the past as far as I am concerned...

Would love to hear some of those. You know the USS Pueblo is still being held by North Korea and there is a push to have the ship returned to the US by its former crew.

Yes I know. My father-inlaws library is a shrine to it and the men he served with. There were two oceanographers on board, himself and another guy he is very good friends with to this day. The have reunions every five years. I have met most of the crew including the captain, Pete Bucher. He painted several pictures that hang in our house. My father-in-law and his friend were used as decoys, doing legitimate ocean mapping and such, while the electronics warfare people below deck were listening in on North Korean signals. He did a lot of stuff to the Soviets too but still can't talk about it because of disclosure laws in the military. But I put two and two together and figured out that they would go into Vladivostok Harbor by submarine and plant listening devices on a communications cable that ran the length of the harbor on the ocean floor.

The Pueblo has the distinction of being the only US Navy ship ever surrenders to the enemy. To fight gunboats and MiGs strafing them would have been a suicide mission for them. All they had, I seem to recall, was a .30cal Browning deck gun. Captain Bucher died a few years ago and I know at the time of his death he was still not forgiven by the US Navy for this. They actually wanted him court marshaled for surrendering the ship but the JAG knew they didn't have a case against him because he was acting in the best interest of his men

Silly question. Of course I did. Why/how else would I be a fan of LSU if I didn't get a degree from there?
