What? Who even thinks about taking fan bases 'seriously'?

It'd be like if I said, "every LSU fan I know eats 3 corndogs at halftime. And I know a lot of LSU fans."

Uh...yeah.. most of the Alabama posters actually do generalize like this. Abort abort

We already know how powerful we are. We single-handedly got Curry fired after a 10-win, SEC championship season. Why? Because he lost to Auburn.

No, there are very few, if any, posters of any fanbase as bad as Rickdaddy. I don't think he's a reflection of the entire Corndog nation, though.

I will say the stadium looked good on tv though. Giving out all the shakers for at least 1 game a year is a good idea.

I did not feel it from my seat in the upper deck.

I saw a lot of chicks walking about campus yesterday with shakers in their boots. Is this something new?

Hell there were chicks with shakers in their boots at Dogwoods in midtown to watch the game.

No, and neither did you.

Back in the damn 60s or whatever, I'm sure that these ancient structures would tremble a good bit. But BDS is a frickin masterpiece that was finished what..like 7 or 8 years ago? There is no way on this earth that people yelling would cause that structure to sway.

You would be dead wrong. I was in the east uppers, and the shaking was a little disconcerting, actually. My son leaned over and said "Wow, you feel this thing moving?"

The only part that was finished within the last 7-8 years were the 2 endzone upper decks. The lower bowl was finished in 1966, West upper deck in 1988, East upper deck in 1998.

What? I guess you've been to houses of the bama fans I know. Like it said. Every bama fan I know has their own shakers.

I'm almost certain that I know more Bama fans than you, and I don't know any that have shakers.

Full disclosure - I own two of them after last night. I'm thinking of putting them in a secret box next to my REC membership certificate.

I watched that video. Not a damn thing swayed as it was not even close to loud.
The noise wouldn't have made it loud, but everyone doing the same motion at once could make it sway. My seats are in the west upper deck. It occasionally shakes.

Shall I dig deep in my photobucket to post the pictures I took at the last LSU/Bama game in BDS?

The ones with MULTIPLE LSU fans with shakers in their pockets?

I know plenty of people who have shakers. Guys included.

All Bama fans? Hell no. Majority? Doubtful. A good bit though? Yeah.

I am a clapper. Any time I have a shaker I never end up using it because Im clapping and yelling. Only time I use it is during cheers and music.

Say what you want about shakers, but they looked damn cool during Dixieland Delight all shaking in unison.

I had a shaker when I was a student. I'd mainly bring it to the game just to chew on the tip to help my nerves in close games.
