Back in the 80s Carolina fans made the East Upper sway so much (engineers said up to 44 inches) that Joe Morrison coined the phrase, "if it ain't swayin' we ain't playin'".
We had to have engineers add extra bracing in '87 because the bleachers would move so much that fans would topple over.

What are the Bama fans yelling during the chorus? It didn't sound like the lyrics, but like they were yelling "Roll Tide" in between each sentence. Which is fricking awful, if so.

There's a call-and-answer for each line of the chorus. Only one of them is Roll Tide. And it's not awful, if you're an Alabama fan.
