I'll bet you $1000 that the game will be canceled. Florida is counting on it.

The good news is that we can be pretty sure that Matthew will be out of the area, so there is ample time to move the game to Saturday night or Sunday.
I think the bigger concern is pulling police and emergency personnel away from dealing with the recovery in order to staff a football game
And also the possibility of damage to the stadium or surrounding areas

That's pretty obvious to anyone with a brain. It's pathetic and changes my perception of the University of Florida

If Florida won't do the right thing, and the SEC is going to be complicit in this insanity, then LSU should be the adults in the room. They should act in the best interest of safety and forfeit the game.

Florida is ready to play the game as scheduled, LSU is not.
Play or forfeit, LSU, that is the decision to be made.

I, for one, would have a great deal of respect for LSU if they volunteered to ruin their season for the greater good.

I will loan you kittens my umbrella on Saturday when rain chance is fricking 20%. Get over yourselves.

Its not just the 20% chance of rain, its that the Tropical storm force winds (39 mph) are expected to begin Friday, Oct. 7 at 9 a.m., and are expected to continue until 4 a.m. Saturday. During that time, from 2-10 p.m. Friday, strong tropical force winds (58 mph) are expected.
Its not even a hurricane anymore, its been down graded, probably sunny and 75 on Saturday and LSU is scared.

Not demanding it be moved to BR.
Asking it be moved any where but Florida that is going to have a fricking hurricane dumbass.
Here comes yet another season of a cancelled game that didn't have to be..

They're poor down on the bayou, they couldn't afford to do that.

I fail to see where LSU is in the wrong considering UF are the ones acting like little bitches about it. We just want to play the game. Florida doesn't appear interested in playing.

The game is scheduled to be played 11 am Saturday October the 8th in Gainesville FL, so what's the problem, exactly?

LSU fans have been calling for Florida to forfeit the game because they don't want LSU to travel to Gainsville and play a 11 am kick with a 20% chance of rain for the day.

There's a big difference in a game that means nothing to a team's season and this game that ultimately could result in a 7-1 Alabama getting in over a 6-1 LSU in the SECCG.
No there isn't, it's a game on the schedule, you scheduled it and it's part of your season regardless of who it is.
