All this talk about sec and national championships next season. Your program is still reeling from beat downs from Ole Piss, Bama, and Bert. You wanted to fire Les and get rid of Cameron. You still don't have a QB. Your solution? Hiring Wisconsins DC. I know I'm scared.
You are going to finish 5th in the West next year. Just be happy you are in the same division as Mississippi State and TAMU.
I can sense the fear in this post, big time. Order will be restored next season and this guy is afraid.

Ole miss returns 6 scholarship offensive lineman. Six. And how many of those are high quality other then Tayler and maybe Patterson. Offensive line will be an issue next year for Ole miss.

It's amazing what a win over Texas Tech will do for a program.

LSU brings back a lot. You can see why they are optimistic.

BUT, if aranda goes to a 3-4, who are your three badass DL, especially NG? lsu doesnt have a true, recruited NG...and that is crucial for a 3-4 to work.
If you know anything at all about Aranda then you know he is not going to force a scheme on players who aren't suited to it.
You're grasping at straws here and seem really scared.

well it's either that or you're just exceptionally ignorant. Which is it?

Aranda's scheme is based on the personnel. He isn't married to one scheme.
We could come out in a 4-3, 4-2-5, 3-3-5, 3-4, 2-4-6, 1-5-6, 0-4-8, etc. base for all we know at this point.

If we ran a 2 gap 3-4 we would probably be fricked. But we don't need as big a NG in a 1-gap 3-4.

I guess our lineman would be bigger commodities if they were jumping out of windows.

You would have to think Alabama will be favored.
I think LSU has a really strong year, just not sure they beat Alabama.

Come on. That's silly. LSU will be good, LSU will give us a war, etc. That is how it always goes.

I could care less what defense lsu runs. small DEs, soft DTs, and one good LB is nothing to be alarmed about.

Aranda ran a 4-3 at Wisconsin his first year here, he doesnt have to run his 3-4 1 gap. It's a different 3-4 than Bama's 3-4. It doesnt want gigantic DL to just clog up the middle, it wants agile DL to attack gaps.
But we absolutely could run his 3-4, given a few DE like Key and Bower, move to (rush) OLB.

The last 2 home games against bama in Tiger stadium have gone down to the wire. This one shouldn't be any different

Not only does LSu return 19 starters but there is a possibility that LSu could have 5 first round picks in 2017 draft and as many as 12 players drafted. So its not talent. The schedule is much easier compared to years past with only road games being Auburn, Florida, Wisconsin, and texas a&m. Ole Miss is going to have a hard time winning 8 games and only being a bowl team because Kelly came back. Rebels have a pretty tough schedule as well.

I think some Alabama fans are so wrapped up in the tide being the absolute best in every facet that they feel threatened and defensive at the mere suggestion that another team could even possibly be on their level, even on just one side of the ball or position.

We haven't done that in 2-3 years except for when we play LSU and Arkansas

We are gonna be good and you just have to deal with it.
You'll probably beat us but this team will be better than last year.
