It's amazing what a win over Texas Tech will do for a program.

I am not an expert, but I am pretty sure this has only happened one or two times since 2000 ...

edit:I get that picking the year 2000 is arbitrary, but does anyone really care what happened last millennium ?

I can't remember the last time OM won the SEC. Or a NC.

What does last years team have anything to do with the 2016 team?

We return a ton with a more experienced Heisman contender.

We will be top 10 out of the gate.

It's pretty hilarious. LSU returns of a lot, but they don't have any difference makers up front. They haven't had any elite D-lineman since Michael Brockers left. They have the worst LB corps of any big 6 team and their DBs have been overrated outside of Adams for about 3 years now.

Cam Cameron is still garbage. Brandon Harris has zero accuracy or touch. Offensive line is still soft and gets zero push against good teams.

This is an 8 maybe 9 win LSU team next year.

We have Arden Key and Beckwith is staying.

We will be seasoned everywhere with a Heisman candidate, Dupree and Harris all more experienced.

Not saying we 100% beat Bama but this team will be much improved.

There's legit reason to think he will walk into the LSU situation and field a top shelf defense despite what anyone tells you.

thats true. on paper that would seem to be the case.
BUT, if aranda goes to a 3-4, who are your three badass DL, especially NG? lsu doesnt have a true, recruited NG...and that is crucial for a 3-4 to work.

We return nearly everyone. Get ole miss and bama at home. Cameron has a good track record with upperclassmen QBs. New DC who seems like a major upgrade.

I don't think it's insane to expect a 2-3 win improvement.

Ole Miss fans saying history is a predictor of the future?? So we can go ahead and assume Ole Miss will never ever ever go to Atlanta then, right?
