The part you'll need to explicate more, though, is the fact that you're essentially resting all your hopes on Lee. He could have changed the momentum, but let's not pretend that he was anything close to a guaranteed game-changer.

Please point to anywhere in my remark where I said he was a guarenteed game changer?

Again, for some Bama fans, even to point out Miles' ineptitudes and blatant errors in judgment is somehow interpreted as shitting on their championship and they lash out. I have no problem with Bama's 2011 title bro, it's cool.

LSU is not ruined, they are a top 25 team. You can't ask for more than that every year.

LSU fans are under the delusion that their program is on the same level as Bama.

A little known fact of 9-6 is LSU only crossed the 50 yard line twice the entire game. Once was on a busted coverage.

First of all, busted overages are part of football. It's a weakness in the defense. Secondly, LSU was already across the 50-yard-line on that "busted coverage" completion because they were moving the chains running the ball on Bama's D. Bama was fortunate that the time ran out because LSU had to kick a FG at the Bama 2-yard line on 3rd down before half.

Bama had their chance in OT in their home stadium and LSU's D pushed them back five yards (Bama went backwards a total of 10 yards with the penalty included). LSU's D got stronger as the game went on. Bama's D got tired as LSU drove inside their 10-yard-line and kicked the winning FG on 3rd down. Bama never even reached LSU's 10-yard-line in the game even with getting the ball at the LSU 25 in OT.

I don't know any LSU fans who would say the status of the programs has been comparable over the last 5 years. Do LSU fans think LSU SHOULD be competing on a level playing field with Bama year in and year out based on talent and strategic positioning for success? Yes. And that's why they are dissatisfied with Miles. If LSU fans thought the program was on the same level as Bama they wouldn't be calling for the head coach to be replaced, now would they?

Man, you guys live in a land of fallacy. How dare LSU fans seek to compete with us!

Don't act like the LSU game isn't a big deal. When you play us you are playing a team with just as much NFL talent of not more than you have.

We are not delusional to think that the history and current reign of Alabama is on the same level as LSU. We do believe that athlete for athlete the teams are razor thin but coaching and execution the teams are continents apart.

What are the top 2 teams with NFL talent right now.

1. LSU
2. Alabama

Ya damn right we should be on the same level. It should be an overtime game every year.

You guys are on the decline and have been for a few years now. Your talent isn't what it was in the past, and your on the field product is no longer near Bama's. LSU will lose to Bama once again this season. Yall aren't on that level anymore.

As soon as Bama was announced they had an immediate advantage over LSU. They get a do over.

Les Miles' defenses have not been as elite lately and that's adding up to more Ls due to his terrible offensive mentality.

It's so like he's bound and determined to win, again, with running the ball and stalwartly defending. Like he's trying to out-Saban Saban. To out-Saban Saban in Saban's own wet dream. It's like Les Miles is bound and determined to be Bret Bielema. Except Les has infinitely greater talent than does Bret Bielema, and yet he is infinitely inferior at doing it.

I love Les Miles.

Les Miles Forever!

How in the he'll do you lose to a 5 loss Kentucky and 5 loss Arkansas team and ever talk shite about any other teams championship.

Kentucky won 3 SEC games that year. Arkansas, Vandy and LSU. Damn.

lol. both of those losses were epic triple over-time games also.

Hell, LSU never loss a game in regulation that year

Don't be surprised when you roll out of tiger stadium with a loss this year.

Not at all. Bama has possibly the greatest coach of all time while LSU has a coach that the game has passed him by.
That's why I said that LSU might have a new qb but still has that same washed up coach

The 2012 home game with Bama almost broke the yoke but when AJ hit Yeldon on the screen it was the mental knockout blow.

He had Saban dead to rights in 2014 but out coached himself and further cemented the fact that he will never beat Nick again.

Think about this for a second.

Miles outcoached Saban TWICE. in 2012 and 2014. Dominated the game start to finish. Couldn't close. What a shame. Those two games, the last minutes, could have changed the CFB landscape. Saban can close, Miles could not.

What's so funny? You know you guys got lucky those games. The perception of miles and saban could easily be reversed if a few plays had gone differently

Just laughing at your "Dominated the game from start to finish" line. No biggie.
