He will not play one down of football for OU. He will sit out go to school and enter the draft.

yeah, seems like an incredibly odd decision on their part. Then again, they got a waiver for a Fresno State WR with the excuse that he had to move due to his allergies or some shite. He grew up in Fresno too. And that was after his dad was quoted in the paper saying he was leaving Fresno because he hated the new offense.

Whoever writes the appeals for OU is excellent. They get everyone into school and always get waivers for transfers.

Bob Stoops has never had a moral compass.

None of this surprises me in the least.

So I'm guessing the Oklahoma staff feels confident he will win his appeal?

What's the basis for the appeal....being a dumbass who can't follow program rules and regs?

Don't forget to remind them about (in the last two weeks)

- the Tech player kicked off of the team for punching a female basketball player in the face -
(she probably asked for it)

-the Baylor player kicked off of the team for multiple failed drug tests - (what really happened was that he was caught dancing with a white woman)

-the 2 UT players who were questioned regarding a sexual assault (nothing to see here. both were, are, and will be innocent)

1st one probably true

2nd one is maybe the stupidest thing I've ever read

3rd one probably true from a legal standpoint, but they were also probably doing something that wasn't smart.

But of course, it's all good when they come play in Big 12 Country.

I agree.

His chances for a waiver are slim and none and not going to the NFL for two more years doesn't seem likely.

I love how the article and you call it a "second" chance when he was busted for 1.5 ounces of marijuana and then a pound a couple of years later. that sounds like a third chance to me. And I would think differently if he was just caught w/ a joint two times.

More like fourth chance. He shoved a chick down the stairs. That's more serious than getting caught with weed, which is legal in two states and is if we are honest something that college students *and* college athletes do rampantly all over the country. But if you read the police report and the text messages by his girlfriend to the girl that got pushed you're blinding yourself not to think there is a domestic violence issue here. "He's hurt me and now he's hurting other people" - text from DGB's girlfriend to the girl who got shoved down stairs.

Tell him two words: Barry Switzer.

Oklahoma is the gold standard for playing thugs, for anyone old enough to remember the Bootlegger's Boy.

Will he be able to practice with the team and get coaching? If so, smart move on his part. Good way to prep for NFL for free

That's going to become common with these programs becoming rehab centers.
