If the NCAA has any credibility left at all.
Then again would OU have gone for him if they didn't have some idea they would get the waiver?
We will see,, OU will bribe the beakers in the NCAA office to rubber stamp the waiver approval in the dark of night, but first they will need to get Bevo's permission. So first it has to be cleared through the Big12 main office in Austin, and what they will say is anyones guess.

and so we see, boys and girls, there is a magic formula for DGB to get immediate approval to play, it simply require the worst of the worst to all get involved.

He can get a waiver if Pinkel agrees to it!

Don't care. I'm done with this sport.
Don't give up yet. The sissies will ruin the sport before the thugs take over. Having just watched CFL on espn and listening to joe shad talk about DGB and OU I have come to the conclusion that he is a giant douchbag. Shad is a perfect example of what's wrong with college football. That dude sucks. It's ok that DGB was caught with a pound of weed and dismissed from Mizzou. It's ok that UNC had classes that didn't exist and football players who read at a 5th grade level. Morals and character mean nothing. Academic fraud? No biggie as long as joe can report on some pretty new uniforms. The guy is a waste of space on set just like Kannell.

Usually API has got dibbs on these re-hab players. Looks like there are other schools trolling the ditches for second chance dreggs.

only rumors, but it sounds like Pinkel is going to sign/or get Alden to sign the waiver so DGB can go immediately to OU.
If PInkel and/or Alden sign the waiver, everyone needs to email their BOC, this sends a horrible message.

Meh, I'm fine with this. He was kicked off the Mizzou football team because the university chooses to operate as clean a program as possible. There's a decent chance he's still on a majority of program's rosters.
It was Mizzou's choice, DGB is a frick up but fair is fair. I'm sure they're not trying to destroy the kid, and with the mentality of the program I'm sure they'd do anything they could to help the kid even if he's not a Mizzou Tiger anymore.
It's a good move, and one I have zero problem with.

Pussies are going to help Oklahoma, I'm ashamed of this school if they do this.

Unless he is made eligible this year, I suspect he will never play a down at OU. NFL in 2015.

How can you say him going to the NFL is the smart choice if he doesn't play this year. He won't be a top ten pick in next year's draft, he might be the following year if he stays at OU and plays

Makes no sense, the rule is there for a reason. If you are going to say you should be able to play then no reason to kick him off the team. It's not like anything was proven or he would have been kicked out of school, which he wasn't.
Then again Pinkel and Alden were never the sharpest knives in the drawer.

Maybe the Mizzou admin aren't cynical and actually want DGB to be able to move on with his life in a productive way even though it didn't work out at Mizzou

Certainly it would depend on his draft position but more times than not, he will be drafted near the same time. Not likely that he is going to improve his draft position in one season. HIs size and speed are probably more important than what he did at Mizz to the NFL..
Certainly his off field issues will hurt him but he won't fix that in one year either.
If he can go, and get a good contract, he should..

Why are you so upset? Players transfer all the time, and OU is incredibly overrated this year because they used A&M's cheat code on Nick.
OU doesn't have the Dline to beat a real SEC team like LSU.
