In Europe you could be asleep in the backseat with the car off and it's still a DUI if you blow hot and the blood test comes back positive.

Hand will face no suspension, nor should he.

This is a non story
Whether you agree or not, Saban has always played his cards this way
He will play vs FSU
The sad thing is with the talent on the roster he wouldn't even be missed
Saban has never been the same with discipline as LSU under Miles or O, O suspended several last year as interim.
What about Kirkpatrick's drug tests, he wasn't far off from the Honey Badger but none of it came out until after season during draft time. LSU could have easily covered up it's drug program but only Saban does that at Bama.

I'd need more proof than that.

If he could prove to me he parited at that house, I make him run and that is it.
If he is double parked and cant remember how he got there, he is missing time for putting himself and others in extreme danger
I dont think that is asking that much either

Didn't miss a game last year and still on Auburn's active roster.

4 Auburn players arrested for marijuana possession won't miss any playing time
The four Auburn football players arrested for possession of marijuana in April will not miss any playing time.
Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said cornerbacks Carlton Davis and Jeremiah Dinson, defensive end Byron Cowart and wide receiver Ryan Davis, have all been "punished" for their arrests on misdemeanor possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on April 30 in Auburn.
"Those four young men made a mistake; we punished them and they won't miss any time," Malzahn said at SEC Media Days at the Wynfrey hotel in Hoover on Monday. "That's behind us. They're four fine young men, they made a mistake and I'm confident that they won't make any more."

If OM were the driver of this car and a cop walked up to it... they would put it in gear and drive about 10 feet. then stop and when the cop walked back up to the door they would drivea little further and then yell at the cop they don't know what is going on someone has control of my car. then they would do it again.

What if you stopped the car and got in the passenger's seat or the back seat, is that still a DUI?
ETA: This is what the Mobile County Sheriff told me in 10 years or so ago. Don't know if it's changed any since then

So translated even though the dude was in the back seat the police and the state of Alabama thought it necessary to arrest him in order to get the extra revenue so as to justify the cop's salary and purpose for existence.
....If Hand was sleeping in a parked car with the engine running though, he is a real dumbass

So let me get this straight...dude sleeps in a parked car after drinking so he DOESN'T endanger himself or others and he still gets a DUI? That literally makes no sense. Saban will start him as he should.
