I've heard multiple reports about Cousins trangressions and they may have been true. I myself bought into them without researching them much myself. However watching Cousins all year I think he is really maturing. He handled the mississippi state thing well with them getting his cell number. I also think he handled the situation well with the clown at Wake Forest and tonight the refs missed an intentional foul on the guy from Cornell. I've seen him take some hard fouls this year and keep focused on the task at hand.

He is getting better. But it seems like some of it wiped off on John Wall.

I dont see wall as having thug like qualities. He's just super arrogant, but I assume most superstar players are some just hide it better. Wall has probably had people telling him how good he is since 12 years old. I talk noise when I win at madden, lol so if I was a lottery pick who knows

Disagree,

There are plenty of great players that don't act like that.

Tim Duncan...and well, there has to be more.

I have to say that this is an apple to oranges comparison. 17-18 year old vs. veteran/seasoned players.

Also, Tim Duncan was a douche in college, and if you have ever seen an NBA game, he is in the top 1% of whiney arse complainers to the ref's. Great- yes. Whiney douchebag - yes.

I think Demarcus is unfairly labeled because that's what American's are best at doing- labeling people. Examples are unnecessary I'm sure...

I never thought Tim was a thug/douche in college. He has that "look" when he thinks he's fouled and it isn't called but he doesn't bother me. He's a model citizen at least as far as we know (not Tiger).

Cousins appears to be a hot head similar to Rashweed Wallace.

You can't have that one at all. Not even close. That's like saying Dan Warner has the potential to play like Michael Jordan on the next level.

You guys SERIOUSLY need to get away from being sheeple and form you own opinions based on facts. It's hilarious how a center that is cracked in the nuts, punched, elbowed, called everything but a child of God by opposing fans (not just MSU), intentionally baited, disrespected, has his front teeth knocked out, karate chopped in the face, judo slammed to the floor etc - can be labeled the bad guy.

UNfrickINBELIEVEABLE.

I agree 100%, Wildcat.

If I took half of the abuse that Cousins take in a game, I'd beat the shite outta someone. He's maintained his cool very well.

Naw.....the guy from Cornell literally tackled going up for a shot last night, Cousins didn't do anything. Awful call, should have been intentional foul towards the end of the game.

Cousins is a "manchild", a kid in a mans body! But if he ever told Coach C "F*** You" in a timeout huddle, he'd have to pick up his teeth and go to the locker room!!

It should have been intentional. But I don't blame the Cornell guy after Cousins put his elbow into his ribs and hooked him. Cousins does that a lot.

I don't blame Cousins for this. Basketball has turned into wrestling down near the hoop. The refs allow it in every game. The defender no longer has a right to his spot on the floor. The offensive player can take it from the defender now. Effing NBA caused this crap.

1. That was Patterson, not Cousins - no punch at all, and was RETRACTED by the student the following day. Complete fabrication.
2. He was kneed in the fricking head intentionally and wrestled the ball away. Did he try to hit the guy with a bow?
3. I don't get it, but I guess he should have jumped to block it.

A post move that have been used for over 50 years, and always will be at all levels of basketball. I saw a mean middle schooler the other day with fierce elbows!

Best big man in the history of our league. period.

Wasn't even DeMarcus Cousins in that video. It was Patrick Patterson. Look a little more closely.

Nothing intentional about that at all. He was simply wrestling for the ball.
