To me, I think Clemson is Alabama's biggest threat.
If I had to order in terms of who I'd want to play the most, I'd say:
1) Michigan State
2) Oklahoma
3) Clemson (they could straight whip our arse if they play well)

I'm sure you said the same thing about tOSU last year and Oklahoma in 2013.
Fact is Oklahoma runs the type of offense that neutralizes the strength of Bama's defense.

I wish I could go back a year and see how confident y'all were against OSU. Or go back 2 years and see how confident y'all were against Oklahoma.
I've tried to have a reasonable discussion and provide some facts/stats.

Thank you for being reasonable. I don't think we'd whip your arse, but I believe we'd win that based on Alabama's offense. Our offense vs Bama's defense is a wash. We have a clear advantage on the other side of the ball.

Did UNC score 37 or not?
Posted on 12/7/15 at 1:24 pm to nc14
Yep. They have a running back and a QB. The last team Alabama faced with that score 43 points. Guess what? UNC is still ranked higher than Ole Miss.

...I also challenge you to find a single bad defensive stat for Clemson. Or is it easier to be ignorant and assume UNC is a bad team?
Being 32nd in rush defense against an ACC opponent might be OK but if you get to play Bama in the Champ game it's going to cause a lot of problems. Bama will control the entire game if you can't stop Henry.

You have an unbalanced offense (I don't think that's unfair to say). If we sell out to stop the run, like we did against ND, I think we'll be fine. Dalvin Cook was held to about the same amount after he broke off a blown play on the first drive. We have experience playing against quality RBs and we handled them every time. The good thing is that the long break should help our banged up defense get rested up.
And that ACC schedule includes wins over 3 of the 10 top ranked teams.

And now you are out of your league in more ways than one. Trust me.

Give me a reason to trust you. You're all talk but have given me absolutely zero reason to.
Neither of us knows what will happen, but your blind sense of superior makes you look like a dickhead. My guess is you'll lose in the first round and you'll be the next Updyke or Brian Downing.

Clemson is a good team, but there defense is simply not on Bama's level.
You gave up 32 to SCAR (our highest point total of the season). 27 to Syracuse (their 3rd highest of the year). 41 to NC State (2nd highest of their year). Boston College scored 17 (their highest against any ACC opponent).
In contrast, 2 teams broke 20 against Bama.
ETA: You have a shot against Bama, but I don't think Gallman can run between the tackles and they have more speed on the edge than anyone you have faced. Not sure the speed sweeps will have the same success they had against everyone else.

Don't get angry and try to stick with the premise of the subject. Your defense isn't in the same galaxy with Bama's, nor are any that you have faced to date.

They "play down to the competition".

At least a gamecock is giving a rationale. Haha.

Number one, Ole Miss does not having a "running back", they have a committee system. So you're just spewing stuff.
Number two, MSU has the same system, so for you to differentiate them based off of nothing is funny. Plus we beat them.
Number three, Tennessee has more of the "one running back, one QB" system, and we beat them.
So, you're just saying things because things.

1. Someone brought up the fact that we let UNC score 37 points on us. My point was to show that a lesser team scored more on Alabama. We won our game while y'all lost.
2. I don't really know what you're saying here. I said we had better defensive stats than MSU (Michigan State, not Mississippi State), that's the only time that I brought them up. I'm not sure what I'm differentiating...
3. Back to number one. I was poking a hole in someone else's argument. But yeah, good job beating Tennesee... No one is arguing systems here.
So you're just taking one of my comments that was replying to someone else's dumb arse argument, and saying "I'm saying things for things". I swear, the people on this board might actually be retarded.
