I don't put a whole lot of thought into it. I do know that I follow SEC football teams more than any others, and usually enjoy seeing them beat OOC teams in regular season and bowl games. I'm not sure if I'll watch the national championship game or not, but between Bama and Clemson... Roll Tide.

It does piss them off. And it just makes us look even stronger.

The SEC needs Bama to win. It helps all of our recruiting whenever the SEC is seen as the top conference. National prestige is everything.
What an asinine theory...

Lol really.
F U Alabama at all times. I never pull for you or the rest of the SEC.

Agree with you. I found myself pulling for every SEC team including Auburn. I am proud of the SEC for coming back after that shitty showing last year. When I go back to work I always have to deal with the Big Ten,Pac 12, ACC fans etc. Feels good to be able to say 8-2 with our team in the finals. Roll Tide!!

The underachievers have a want & a need for the SEC to be good... The Tide can just Roll on like the Tide.
Spoken like a true sidewalk fan. Just like so many Bama fans want to deify Saban, you present another, equally pathetic facet, where you identify opposing fans as "underachievers" if the team they root for doesn't win a championship.
Unlike you sidewalk Bama homers, a lot of football fans root for the school they graduated from in particular, but are fans of college football in general. This is a foreign concept to you, but they don't equate self-worth, achieving or underachieving with the accomplishments of a football team they don't coach or play for.
