shite dude, they keep track of these stats for a reason. LSU was #1 in total defense AND #2 in scoring defense. What reason can you give for Ole Miss being better? A gut feeling?
What's incredible is that our offense was so bad that we went 8-4 despite having the #1 defense.

The travesty is that godchaux had 34 tackles while Hand, from bama, had 7. If that's true, godchaux should have made the team almost 5 times over..
