if the blue line puts the line of scrimmage at the 39ish then 36ish is 3 yards and therefore.... legal. if it's the Auburn britches right above the ALA on the CBS. screenshot then totally < 3 yards.

But the play as it was run is illegal.

refs mess up all the time.

Patrick Peterson Intercepts the ball on your forty yardline with his foot in.....they called him out of bounds.

Eric Reid intercepts the ball and Bama fans say it was incomplete.

It happens.

AU to the championship. They've gotten screwed too.

They won and that is all anyone will remember two years from now. Oh, and that amazing play.

39 and a half...36 and a half would be three yards you can see Prosch's feet well past that, one foot near the 34. O lineman is very near the 36 and running downfield.

And thank you for the pic.

so what if he was five yards down the field getting hit by your LB as he tried to get open?

If that lineman was past the 36 and a half he was illegal.

Prosch is blocking downfield, and is illegal. He started blocking Mosley early on turned and maintained the block.

Offensive Pass Interference.

I think you should worry about your own team doing this first, since they do it quite often. it looks less melty.

BTW, how much did you lose on your BCS championship tickets? Did the ink run when they were covered in your tears?

I did not start the string. David Pollack basically did.

The New York Times. Rick Neuheisel. And others agree with me.

Phil Savage called it a flag football play, clearly illegal and said so on air when it happened and in a later interview.

Smart to run that play. I blame the officials.

Yea it's obvious he's trolling now. Which is a great way to cover how poorly he intially handled his team losing a football game.

If they're laughing at you, laugh at yourself strategy.

Nope. none of the above. 36.5 and the ball was already released. Legal. Awesome. I didn't appreciate the depth of knowledge Auburn players had about staying within the rules until you came along. I mean I was already proud of them with the whole "greatest moment in sports history" play against Alabama no less but now I am even more proud.

I might hit play again on the DVR and watch it again.

BTW go review the definitions already posted.

Given your choice of team I would expect it will take you a lot longer.

A player is not legal? Legal for what?
