If Muschamp couldn't win at Florida, he definitely can't win at SC.

Muschamp failed at UF for a ton of different reasons.

But 2014 UF was a few plays from 10-2 and he went 11-1 in 2012.

But I could easily see him winning the East with the talent at Carolina this year.

They have young, really good talent there.

I don't see any teams going to the SEC championship other the the big 6 . I would pick Vandy from the east . The seem to turn things around last year and the Webb back return the starting QB. In the west I would go with MSU . They have a good young QB with a great offensive minded HC . A&M has the best talent out side of the big 6 but have been soft.

West - Mississippi State. If they get any sort of defensive improvement this year, they will cause that division fits.
State doesn't have to be a top 5 defense in the conference. If they can be just in the middle of the conference, State could cause fits

UK because they have better talent. They've really done good recruiting.

I always take A&M as my dark horse based solely on the fact that their talent is on par with the big 6 and clearly better than the bottom 7.

I agree here USCE looked pretty darn good at the end of the year and they bring back a ton. They will be a tough out in the east and idk what their schedule looks like but if their big games are at home watch out.

It's got to be Arkansas for me I just can't see A&M winning anything nor State. State had a great shot with Dak and still couldn't get there. It will be tough for State on defense.

That being said LSU will surprise some folks this year. I don't think we are quite there yet but we aren't far. If Aranda and Canada stay for the long haul we will win lots of games and a ship before they leave. Long haul is 4 to 8 years. GT

Anyone not named Florida or Georgia in the East. Kentucky would actually be the least surprising I think that team is very, very good this year. They scare me.

West..I guess Arkansas would be a surprise winner, but I think we all expect them to be strong this year. So I guess dark horse would be the Aggies..since no one is talking about them at all this offseason.

I would definitely sell Louisville because of this same fact. If Petrino was dissatisfied with Grantham, there will be some fireworks up there this year.

Ole Miss is going to hurt some feelings. They are still a good football team and they have 0 pressure to win.

They also have 0 incentive to win. They may be ok until the first loss happens and by the second loss they will give up again. They are dangerous to Mississippi State though.

They may have a bit of a chip on their shoulder. Sometimes that can be a motivating factor. Honestly I dont know much about the interim coach or the rest of the staff. I guess we'll see.

Usc on the east. I think their defense will keep them in games.

Msu in the west. They lost 3 games by the TAMU game in the last seconds... i think 2 of those were by a fg and the other in OT. Ranked 110 in defense. If the new coach and juco can produce, they will have a great season. If they leave to a kicker.... long season.

Btw, why cant they find a kicker?

All the west teams other than the Tide are dark horses.

Not being a homer I'll say UT in the east everyone expects Lyle to fall

West I'm gonna say Arky they have a very sneaky under the radar good team this year.

The greatest mystery of all time. MSU was once known for it's kickers, now we can't hit a 25 yarder. Mullen is taking a lot of heat over this. It has cost us a lot of games since he's been here.
