I saw Wolken going back and forth with @Funkys on Twitter earlier...I'm blocked by Funkys for whatever reason though, couldn't see it

Everybody acting like we got busted paying $200k for Knemdiche or something.
We got busted paying $15k to Leo Lewis who signed with State and for giving out $15k in free apparel.
$30k and people talking 4 year bowl bans. WTF

He did what everybody at Ole Miss has done from the beginning. Lied. Even the fans are lying. To themselves. 9-11 is coming though.

True, just ridiculous especially when Cam gets $180-$200k and Baylor rapes people and nothing happens. We do a lot of minor shite and get hammered.

You're getting busted because the very men in charge of your football program chose to give falsified recruiting information to your Compliance Department or completely failed to inform your Compliance Dept of their recruiting activities. THEN they chose to lie to the NCAA and carry on their network of activities during a time when compliance should have been paramount >>>>>>> while the NCAA was on your campus.

Yeah. Everyone should read the NCAA rebuttal to OM's response.
Over and over again, people told the NCAA they didn't know someone or that they didn't have any contact with them and the cell records would show dozens of calls and texts in very short periods of time.
They're not only consistently lying about easily proven things, they're really bad at it. Pizza guy is a prime example. He could have simply said "Sure I gave them free pizza and beer, but never any cash" and you've got a relatively minor violation with a he said/she said on a bigger one. Instead, he lies and said "I never even talked to them" and lets his credibility be utterly destroyed by phone records.

Well, that's how it works. SMU got busted because one player talked. Alabama got busted because one player talked. But at least it shows a pattern that the staff will do it: Ole Miss paid $15 thousand to a guy that never even PLAYED FOR THEM - just imagine what they would do for someone who does. That's what you're in denial about.....

You are guilty of much more than we were charged ?ith in the late 70's and they hammered the héll out of us. We had to forfeit 21 wins,cost us atleast 2 bowl games and killed recuiting.One of those probätion years we were 9-2.Äll this over a discount on clothes all MSU students got ät that time.So quit crying.

To compare deserved football sanctions to 9-11 and the lives lost for freedom is vile and distasteful. Please find another comparison.
