Interesting that Mullen's chief advocate for
him to move out of the state is an Ole Miss
fan. How does that happen ?

You think that was Mullen's agent.

Name a couple of those bad losses.

You really want to do this? OK lets do this.

We will leave out the South Alabama loss.

2013 against LSU 59-26.

2012 against Northwestern 20-34.

We will give you a wink and nod on the 38-7 beat down Bama put on you that year because these things happen.

This year... Georgia 31-3, Auburn 49-10.

Yes. Your coach has no bad losses at all. shite, what was I thinking? You got me buddy.

Mullen has zero bad losses in his resume. I stand corrected.

I think he meant losses to teams that MSU was favored to beat. I think?

So he's a good coach when favored to beat an opponent?

Probably explains why he's never won the SEC, let alone the West.

Maybe, but she might like it better than Starkville!

The part of the Dan Mullen at Florida history that you forgot:

Was kept of the recruiting trail because he is a jerk.
Didn't get along with other coaches because he is a jerk.
Wasn't allowed to talk to the media because he is a jerk.
Fans did not like him because he is a jerk.
The administration did not like him because he is a jerk.

Put McElwain in place of Dan Mullen and you see what just got fired. They aren't getting another jerk there.

The Mullens don't like Gainesville and Gainesvillians don't like the Mullens.

Nope. She moved her family to Starkville. She loves it there, and is on the record saying such. Nice try though.

Did I read that right?
Bowl record 5-2 = .400

5-2 = .71

Unless he’s won 2 of 5 and I read it wrong. Been a long day.

I thought he was saying he won 5 of 7. Like I said a long day.

Don't think he will leave. He's a good coach but has issues retaining staff and has had disappointing recruiting years. State fans like him and they are happy with anything over six wins a year. Florida is a harsher and more demanding. He needs to stay in Starkville.

It's the same explanation as all other SEC West Schools. Nick Saban.

But by all means, keep firing your coaches.

Dude, that is the understatement of the year. They should build a statue to Mullen outside that Stadium. He is far and away the best coach in Mississippi State history. Not even close. Jackie Sherrill had a couple of magic moments, but Mullen IS Mississippi State football.

So in 8 1/2 years he's 3 games over .500 against the entire SEC except Alabama. Not too shabby.

Which really begs the question...exactly what is Mississippi State football?
