Robinson was a nice runner...but he got in the doghouse a bit last season because he was/is a bad pass blocker.
The offense for MSU was very good last season and should be very good this upcoming season. It hinges on the defense.

I'm not defending this year's non-conference schedule, but twice in the Dan Mullen era we had a top 5 SOS, including two years ago when we became the only team in history to play 7 10-win teams in a single year. And they played a 9-win Oklahoma State team to boot.
Mullen's first year, he went 5-6, but played three teams that ended up in BCS games. And don't forget when the Southern Miss series was scheduled, USM was a 10-win team that nearly busted the BCS.
Schedule is looking better for future years. Home and homes with BYU, Kansas State, Arizona and NC State, all good top 25 programs that I am sure will be down when we play them so that the Rant can bitch about our schedule strength.
