Dan Mullen still stacked for another run.

Looking at the depth chart from last year he still has a lot of talent left on the roster. I think this could be a stout defensive team and balanced on offense. If Robinson would have stayed at rb and that big middle linebacker played one more year I think they could have won the west this year. I am picking auburn to win if they can get their defense in order but it looks like state could go top 3 this year in the west again.

Your SEC n00b is showing. Mississippi State always has the biggest joke non conference schedule in the country. At least every year since Dan Mullen has been there. Mullen has gone on record saying they want to put as many wins on their schedule as possible to help their confidence. It inflates their record and makes them look better than they are and is one of the big reasons Mullen is thought of as highly as he is, people look at the record and not the schedule.
It's even more pathetic most years because a lot of years they play away games at mid majors. They played @South Alabama last season. They've played @UAB, @Troy, I think they played @Memphis one year. It's a joke.
