Eh Harris has been held below 100 yards rushing 4 times this season.

Fournette is the first SEC player to ever rush for 200 in 3 straight games.

He's also rushed for 100+ in 14 of his last 16 games.

Bama has played the following Ds based on total Defense:

40. USC
57. Kent St
72. Kentucky
73. Tennessee
83. Texas A&M
90. Ole Miss
95. Western Ky
106. Arkansas

Looks like a Mountain West Schedule.

Nobody realistically thinks Damien Harris is better than Leonard Fournette, right?

Take out "realistically" and Alabama does.

Bama's next 3 average 17.4 carries per game. LSU's average 17.

So, you agree that the stats are virtually identical...Lynyrd has carried the ball three times less times than Harris and both LSU's and Bama's other backs get essentially the same number of carries per game. And that Harris' YPC average and s better than Lynyrd's.

Glad that we agree.

You shouldn't have brought this up.

I was hoping he'd break another 45 yarder to break the SEC record of 325.

Dude, this is not a winning argument. I love DH, but LF7 is a freak.

I literally just posted that I think that LF7 is better.

He's obviously joking, but it is an interesting match up considering they were both the #1 RBs in their class and their classes were a year apart.

It seems like Alabama fans are still bitter Leonard Fournette chose LSU over them, like LSU fans are still bitter that Eddie Lacy, Tim Williams, Landon Collins, etc chose Alabama over them.

Now do against common opponents.

I believe they only have 1 common opponent, so that isn't the best indicator. However, if we look at stats strictly against Power 5 Teams, Harris' numbers get better whereas Leonard's remain the same as he has only played power 5 opponents.

Damien's YPC rises to 8.81 against Power 5 teams

It's the only indicator.

Otherwise, carry on comparing games Fournette played with a sprained ankle and include those stats.

It only makes Fournette's case stronger - including a game he played with a sprained ankle, against the 10th ranked rushing defense (and he STILL got >100 yards) - in a comparison with a RB who hasn't faced anyone.

LSU fans are so overly sensitive when it comes to Leonard. Everybody knows he's a pretty good RB, but he's never won anything at LSU. He'll be shut down again against Bama and that will be that. The end of a novel college career.
