Acting like his QB throwing a pick six was some kind of luck that should be thrown out the window

How ugly would that OT have been?

He’s right though. He’s got a championship defense. His young QB will grow up and understand how to handle a pass rush. His OL will gel more. No one outside Bama that they could play will bring that kinda defense.

We gotta hope the same is true for us.

It depends on the context. Knowing Dabo, he’s probably using it an excuse to not drop his team in the polls.

He’s wrong. Let’s play the what if game.

What if we don’t miss our first FG?

What if we don’t touch that punt and get possession on Clemson’s 45 yard line?

What if we don’t mercy kneel inside Clemson’s 20 yard line?

Wow! If it weren’t for all that we won 27-3!

Did he forget about the mercy knee Georgia took at the end of the game when they were near the goal-line? Could have easily scored again.Got whipped....get over it.

You can say that about anything.

“Take away the interception and the FG and we beat Georgia”

Ok…?

He forgot we kneeled at their 12 yard line and missed a field goal, didn’t he?

It's just typical Dabo. Minimizing the fact that his team lost instead of talking up the way his defense played.

He is just doing what every fan does the next morning. Part of the grieving process

I'm loving how he acts like we couldn't have scored a touchdown on that final drive, instead of taking a victory formation and running out the clock.

Sup Vox. Scary Defense.

This games was nowhere as close as the score. Georgia dominated.

Georgia fans stay defensive.

Psychology says it relates to 1980.

That mercy knee only happened because Clemson had to go for it on fourth down due to being down by a touchdown. Had it just been 3-3, who’s to say their play calling isn’t different on their final drive? If they had been stopped, Clemson would have punted and pinned Georgia deep. Kirby likely plays for OT at that point given his historical tendencies.

He can't make that guarantee, but the what-if cuts both ways. That interception was at the UGA 30. If it's simply dropped at worst Clemson gets a FG attempt out of the possession.

Best take is to just call it like it was - a low scoring game that both teams hope is a sign of dominant defenses instead of inept offenses.
