I think he's just saying what most fans (outside the internet) are thinking. I don't see it as him insinuating it as "luck"

I mean, it was clear GA was better than Clemson, but expect a steady diet of how "that was a different team" yadda yadda yadda.

Honestly? I have no idea if our defense is that good or our offense is that bad. I like to think all our injuries hobbled the offense since the coaching staff was determined to throw the ball a lot.

Clemson's problem going forward is they could be a different team, but they don't play anybody to prove it.

I have not seen any serious argument that it is anything but Alabama at 1 and Georgia at 2 right now.
If it were me, I would say:

1)Alabama
2)Ohio State
3)Georgia
4)Oklahoma

I really think Oklahoma is better than they showed, and Ohio State beat a pretty good Minnesota team by 2 TDs AT Minnesota. We didn't show enough offense for me to jump us above Ohio State.

Good news is we have a relatively easy schedule. Got to keep from having a let down week.

fwiw I thought Clemson would win this game because I suspected that Clemson would manufacture more offense in a defensive struggle. We got the defensive struggle that many expected but Clemson did not manufacture more offense.

Essentially, DJ Uiagalelei way underperformed. I didn’t suspect he’d have a good game but I figured he’d have some scramble throws and runs that busted an otherwise sterling UGA defensive performance. He just wasn’t up to this moment. He looked good in his starts last year but UGA’s defense is a different beast and it clearly got in his head.

I was really surprised he did not run it more, but he looked really slow when we saw him run.

Clemson has real issues, but they have an entire season to get it working.

Last time I saw the Dawg defense brutalize a QB that much was Colt Brennan from Hawaii in the 2008 Sugar Bowl.

Dabo should complain about the missed horse collar and targeting + punter flopping on the same play.

he's not a good runner at all I could have told you this from last years Notre Dame game. He's a pure pocket QB if I have ever seen one

If they drop another game this season, I hope they're toast.

That said, I hope they win out the rest of the season and sit at home on selection day, marinating in their 5th place ranking.

Saying Clemson has real issues does not negate the Georgia win.

And this is in the context of being a contender for a national championship.

I am sorry but the lack of running game, current o-line play, losing a top draft pick at qb all add up to real issues.

We could have scored at the end.

But if the interception never happened every sequence after that would have been different. Saying what you just said is as bad as saying what Dabo said. Who knows how it would’ve panned out? But yes, Georgia had Clemson’s D on their heels on that last drive.

Dabo was channeling Les Miles

Les: Well we were undefeated in regulation

Both are pretty mentally challenged

Clemson was actually going to get a field goal in that possession so it would have been 6-3 going into halftime if you take away the interception.
