About 90% of everyone watching jumped on AJ for crying after the game. About the same amount of people drilled Tebow when he cried. Marcus Lattimore messed his knee up and likely ended his CFB career then he cried. Everyone gave huge amounts of respect to Lattimore. Tebow and AJ not so much. These 3 are examples of people who have a passion for what they are doing. AJ knew he didn't deserve to win that football game. He felt extremely humbled. Call me whatever you want but I do not think there is a problem with these leaders and great people crying in a football game.

No, no its not.
Lattimore crying is nothing similar to Tebow or AJ McCrying (swidt?). Lattimore probably thought his career was over, or in a lot of pain. Regardless, his crying is the only acceptable one.

McCarron was crying from relief, gratefulness etc. He was overwhelmed by the magnitude of it all I think. And because he had ALREADY felt the sting of the loss, I'm certain. And then outta nowhere, victory.
Tebow rubbed me the wrong way for some reason, a bit of a prima Donna maybe.
I cried leaving the field after my last HS game.
It happens all the time in football for some reason.

I agree with this. He knew what was happening, and what it meant. He knew they just got outplayed on a Saturday night in Death Valley, but he just led the drive of his life. He just couldn't hold it in.

Many of which were Bama fans, by the way.

Now y'all are back-peddling.

Me too man. I knew i'd never get to play again. I cried like a MF'er. It was the feeling of total loss of something i truly loved that's i'd been doing since i was 5 years old.

I'd cry too if I knew I had to face A&M next week. Oh wait, I'm a man and no I wouldn't.

I agree. I'd rather see someone who cares enough about the game to cry a little than see some punk arse bitch who doesn't even care when they frick up or worse.... blames everyone else but themselves.

Tebow was crying because he's passionate/gay
Aj cried because he thinks he won the heisman but kleins gonna win
Latt cried because it probably felt like he just got hit by a train

I see what you are saying. I personally never pounded Tebow for crying. I do know multiple Bama fans that did. The ones that did pound him for it wouldn't agree with me that it was ok for AJ to cry either.

Textbook apples and oranges here.

It is not okay to cry in football. Anyone saying it is obviously never played football. If an LSU player cried I'd call her out too.

That is correct. It's baseball it's not allowed. Tom Hanks said so.

Crying in football is ok if you play in "The Brokeback Mountain Conference" but not in the SEC.
