So, it's okay to cry when your irrelevant high school career is over, but it's not okay when you just beat LSU at night in Tiger Stadium?

Anyone saying it is obviously never played football.

So Lattimore would say it wasn't ok when he cried? Multiple people on this thread have said that they cried after their last game in HS. I cried after I tore my ACL before my first game this season. You have to put yourself into the shoes of these guys. Tebow decided to come back his senior year in hopes of winning it all but was crushed when he couldn't. AJ couldn't contain the fact that he won when he shouldn't have. He was so thankfull. The fact that people can beat these guys up for CARING about something is just harsh. I know it's football and all but these guys are human just like everyone else.

Has anyone brought up the fact that most of these kids are 18-21 years old. Emotions run high at that age...Give them a break.

Crying in football is ok if you play in "The Brokeback Mountain Conference" but not in the SEC.

There is no difference. The bottom line is these three guys care. I've seen multiple guys have career ending injuries and it didn't effect them like it effected Lattimore.

No, there is a difference.
I bet your right now because your soo emotional people aren't agreeing with you.
Being emotional doesn't always equal crying, unless your a woman.

When we beat Tebow, his season was over in terms of what he wanted to accomplish. He wanted a Championship. AJ's season was about to be over, but he led an amazing drive that gave new life. Lattimore simply wanted to play college football and he probably won't be able to again. In each of these cases there is a similar trend. There are numerous guys who are injured their senior year in HS/College and they do not cry about it. Certain people have a passion for the game unlike any others. No one has brought up Mark Ingram crying in his Heisman speech. Passion for the game is the bottom line here. Crying about something you care about is a natural human reaction.

Actually, more people have agreed with me than not. I just get tired of how people treat these players that are working hard everyday to win. As fans we don't do anything but mash a button on our remotes and watch the freeking game. Respect the players please.

So getting on a keyboard and bitching about people bitching about the very few players that do cry, are pussies?

Get off your high horse. Your not a little boy at this age anymore. Your a grown man, playing grown man football. Want to let your estrogen spew out, go to the locker room and cry. There is a reason that this rarely happens and when it does, its a big deal.

Its because you don't cry in football.

He's said before that it was his dream since he was a little kid to be the quarterback at Alabama. I think the drive last night out him up there with some of the all-time greats in Alabama history. How many times do you think he pretended to throw the game winning pass to put Alabama in the SEC championship with his dad in the back yard as a kid?

AJ was crying thinking he would have to go face Saban after the game for the shitty way he played for 58 1/2 minutes.
