Name the 14 teams Bama has beaten from the 2009-2013 seasons.

It must have been "ranked at the time", because I only count 7

2009: Virginia Tech, Florida, Texas
2010: None
2011: LSU, Arkansas
2012: Georgia, Notre Dame
2013: None

Well our point is the headline and the OP is useless

Make no difference what you think of the headline. OP is factually correct. Changing the topic doesn't change the facts.

But the responses place the "factually correct" op into the accurate context to reveal the "factually correct" statement in the op is meaningless.

By logic of rival fans, Bama hasn't beaten a number one team in the last 5 years

Alabama has beaten 8 teams that finished in the Top 10 since 2008. Which is still more than any other program if we're going to go with final rankings as opposed to where they were ranked at the time of the game.

I disagree. Adding at the time would make it factually correct. The understood and accepted ranking system once a season is over is the final rankings. So the title of "wins over top 10 teams" would be generally accepted as factually incorrect. Unless saying, "Ted Bundy innocent" is factually correct, because he WAS innocent when he was 10 years old

I'm sure if another team had more end of season Top 10 wins in that span, it would already be posted, right?

Therefore, AU has not beaten a top five Bama team in the last 5 years

Auburn might. I have never looked it up, but it has to be close after 2010 and last year.

Eta response to juicy

AU has 6 wins over top 10 at end of season in that time frame.

All of these folks worried about opponents rankings at game time vs. end of season. Admit it, you all are gonna go with the criteria that benefits your argument. OP included.

But we still gettin' it done.
