Mobile is the best city in the state. Fact. DWI.

Eastern Shore in Baldwin County is pretty nice, but Mobile is shite.

The Birmingham suburbs are the best still: Mountain Brook, Vestavia Hills, etc......

The Florence/Muscle Shoals area is very nice as well.

The fact you said Tuscaloosa offers the same things the ham does is the worst opinion in the whole thread.

Bama facilities are some of the best, great tradition, terrible fans, great HC.

You would probably like Bama fans if you left your trailer park here and there and went to a game other than A Day.

No doubt better trees. Don't forget about better sexual predators.

The teabagger you are referring to is from Smiths Station, AL (about 30 minutes from Auburn) and Harvey Updyke is from Dadeville (also about 30 minutes from Auburn). I don't think it is a coincidence that the worst Alabama fans live in Auburn.

Both towns have pretty good restaurants.

Head Coach- BAMA
Facilities- BAMA
Academics- depends on your major big time
Campus- BAMA
Town: Even
Tuscaloosa: more to do, but more random thugs if you go to the wrong parts
Auburn: cleaner, less traffic, less crime, 90 minutes from Atlanta, less to do in town though, the trailer park scene brings it down a bit, but it is avoidable

Dude, put down the pipe. Bama fans suck, Updyke, Tbagger, the music guy before the IB, the sidewalk alumni. I gave alabama complements, then you attack. Typical Bama fan.

BTW I have been to over 20 games in Tuscaloosa. As I said nice facilities, but the fans suck and that includes how they treat Arkie and UT fans.

Both schools provide a quality education, depends on major and how you want to rank. Auburn grads make more money, so we have that going for us.

This makes sense--liberal arts and education majors generally make much less money over their lifetime than engineering and computer science majors...

However, BAMA's business and law programs are ranked among the highest in the SEC.

Its the head coach stupid. If Saban were at Auburn they would be on a similar run right now.

Mobile has the beach and a legit Mardi Gras. Plus with the huge oaks all over downtown and mid town, its a beautiful city. And being an old French Catholic city, iits way less up tight than the interior and north of the state.

Mt Cheaha is also beautiful. Even after living in the western Carolina mountains, I still love visiting there.

Most studies are for undergraduate degrees. If you look at Grad schools, I believe the average Veterinarian makes more than the average attorney.

Both provide a quality education.

For those liking mobile, it was just ranked the third most miserable city in America.
LINK

MOBILE, Alabama -- This is one of the worst places to live in the country, according to an analysis by 24/7 Wall St., a financial news website. The website ranked Mobile as the 3rd most miserable city in the country.
Only the Huntington and Charleston areas of West Virginia are worse, according to the analysis, which drew on the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index for its data.

The Mobile area's high poverty, crime and low education all contributed to the dubious honor.

BDS is nice, no doubt. But no flame: What tradition does Bama have in that building? Isn't most of your history at Legion Field?
